I think Vince has gone full blow Inoki on this one: From Alex Mcarthy of Talk Sport “As far as Lesnar goes, WWE are looking at two options. One would see him face Cain Velasquez in what the company would bill as a ‘rubber match’ as Velasquez dethroned Lesnar for the UFC heavyweight title in MMA and Lesnar defeated Velasquez on his WWE debut at Crown Jewel in October. However, if Tyson Fury beats Deontay Wilder to become the WBC heavyweight champion of the world, the allure of having a boxing world champion face Lesnar is expected to be too much for Vince McMahon.” SourceThey can't seriously be planning this right? I mean as cool as a boxing champion vs the WWE champion is in concept, Tyson's match with Strowman left a lot to be desired. Add into this the fact that the champion in question is one of the laziest wrestlers to ever live, and this is a recipe for disaster This would be something for a random Saudi Arabia show certainly not Wrestlemania, and definitely not for the WWE title even then! And if it's Velasquez their last match sucked all sorts of ass, so it shouldn't be headlining either. If they go through with this, I can't wait to see the reactions here. Funny thing is that this would probably do more for Tyson Fury than it would for WWE.

While I have no desire to see it happen again, I actually enjoyed Lesnar/Cain. Lol

Sounds fine if it's not for the WWE Title.

This is the dilemma with Lesnar on Raw. He literally has zero remotely interesting opponents. Just get the belt off him at the Rumble against whoever and have Fury or Velasquez cost him the belt, so if they want to do that trash at WM at least don't involve the WWE title in it.
The sad thing is that Raw isn't all that bad of a show right now, but it's a dead end show. There's no actual title scene on it.

Eh no interest in cain vs brock 3. But brock vs fury, if he beats wilder, that would be quite a spectacle

At this point, it just is what it is. Brock is going to hold the title forever, barely be around, and be in really stupid matches.
One day Brock will be done and maybe we'll get something different. Maybe.

Sounds fine if it's not for the WWE Title. Exactly what I came to say. Then again..... the title, in my eyes, is currently a forgotten belt, so.... does it really matter?

I think we'll see Lesnar vs. Fury for the title with Fury winning to get the mainstream attention that Vince craves.

I think we'll see Lesnar vs. Fury for the title with Fury winning to get the mainstream attention that Vince craves. Probably wouldn't be too much different from Lesnar with the belt honestly. He'd come defend the belt between his WBC title defenses and training. The issue is him losing the belt. I imagine that legit fighters would be pretty protective of themselves doing the job, especially when they're undefeated in their home sport. This could be a precarious spot to navigate if they're not careful.

It don't even really matter anymore
Beating Brock is not some big accomplishment as it should be and him holding the belt hostage is just the same tired story it has been the last 5 years

I get the logic: Wrestling fans are going to turn into Wrestlemania just because it's Wrestlemania; give people who don't watch it a reason to turn in. However, the need to put the title on Lesnar is beyond me.

While that sounds awful, I'll probably be sleeping at that time considering WM is usually 7-8 hours and it'll probably go on last this time.

Losing to Seth should have been the end of it but it was just swept under the rug. He wasn't "slayed" he just got a different coloured belt. It's beyond played out by now.

If they can give me the book I can use the next 4 months to make a very compelling storyline for Brock Lesnar vs Straw Broman. You just need to suspend disbelief over Matt Riddle making a Strawman come to life.

It is just ass backwards in general It has been stated that Brock likes working with smaller wrestlers. Putting him against Fury, Wilder, Cain is going to make him do the minimum effort. Brock doesn't need the title, just make him a bully like you did against Mysterio. Can rinse and repeat against someone else It is truly crazy to think one of his last great legit wrestling matches was against CM Punk.

If it’s either of these options, please put it on last so I can get back to the hotel early.
