....on May 25th. Cauliflower Alley Club Facebook announcementApparently it went unreported until today. Like many here, I grew up watching him as the blonde haired road agent that would show up on WWF television breaking up fights. But he was a respected wrestler who won championships in various territories including the world tag team championship with Karl Gotch in the WWWF. Rest In Peace

How does this stay quiet for so long? RIP. As a child of the 80’s and 90’s, I always wondered who that guy with the weird hair was.

I remember him trying to get the Warrior out of the casket, possibly as the illustrious sledgehammer and wedge wielder I can’t remember

Wait, he DID pass away this summer?!
That news did go around locally in Montreal back then, amongst the boys, like third-hand news. But it wasn't reported officially anywhere so I thought it wasn't real.
Soldat Goulet was always cited to us as an exemple of what hard work, dedication to your craft and a healthy lifestyle could bring to you in wrestling.
I never met him, he retired in the Carolinas I heard. But any time I heard of him, it was always positive.
RIP!
