Aww, RIP. Loved that show. I always wanted the Iron Chef to win. Italian food is not a cuisine I'm super familiar with but I liked what he cooked in the show. Always marked out for him running up to the secret ingredient altar.

It says he showed up to work before anyone else was there and tried to retrieve something from a high place, but fell and lost consciousness. When other employees showed up they had him taken to a hospital but it was already too late. He seemed to be very loved judging from the eulogy, and he was apparently only 49. That's just way too soon for anyone.
