Ton of respect for both guys.
Lio was, understandably, getting shit on HARD at one point, but he is someone who has done a lot to turn heads and win hearts and minds. Like, there was very much a time when people would scoff at the assertion that ROH missed out on him due to not doing enough to keep him, but I think these past few months have really vindicated him.

Twice Mauro said he was the first Mexican Cruiserweight Champion. I had to double check to make sure I wasn’t mid-remembering Kalisto’s reign. I guess he meant since it became NXT exclusive?

Kalisto's from Chicago. Right. He is Mexican American, but second generation, born in the US. He did still spend much of his youth in Mexico City, though, so it's not like his being billed from there is a stretch, anymore than saying Jericho's from Winnipeg despite being born in New York.
