I certainly wouldn't mind some NXT during the 12 hour WWE Mania Marathon. Gonna be a long show. -_-

At some point, WWE really need to consider making WrestleMania a two-night card, ESPECIALLY now that NXT is ostensibly meant to be an equal to RAW and SmackDown. 3-4 hours one night, go home and sleep, come back for another 3-4 hours the next night. These 5, 6, 7 hour shows are so taxing on everyone, but nobody wants to be the bad guy and make half the roster sit out of the biggest show of the year or shorten all the matches. Because that's where all the extra time is coming from, the length of matches and the sheer number of them.

When they floated the idea of Wrestlemania taking multiple days they obviously didn't mean 6-8 hour shows over 2-3 days, they meant a single 36 hour show. And yet with 36 hours to fill someone will end up being an impatient rude jerk who interrupts Elias before he even get's a chance to complete his first song.

People said NXT was overexposed already previously.
It is going to cease to be hot one day if they keep leaning on it, and end up seeming like just another stale WWE thing.
But then people have been saying shit like this about it from an early stage anyway about all sorts of changes and angles and upticks in prominence.

To play cynic in another way, the larger role that NXT is playing in Big 4 shows is intended to draw more viewers away from AEW. WWE's booking problems have always been a result of the lack of competition, and now that some exists, they're aggressively trying to maintain their status quo.
