I appreciate that the guy doing Skeletor is trying to go high pitched a bit, and they seem to be trying to sort out some of the merged continuity between the previous series' and comics.

This does not look like a show I will enjoy. I’ll check it out. But not my cup of tea. Really like Revalation though. So at least there’s that.

Some people owe Kevin Smith an apology after this.

It definitely has a Clone Wars/Rebels kinda of feel to it, I'll give it that much.

doesn't look like I'd like it... could be fun... it's not made for me... but... one of the characters name's is Ram Ma'am so... A++ best show ever >_> Seriously, I mean it's cool they're doing their own thing with it... rather than just treading the same exact ground over and over again. It's not aimed at me and as I said I don't think I'd watch it but... it's meant for kids. 2002 He-man show still exists, as does the original filmation stuff... or Revelations... or hell the MOTU Movie... where they ran out of funding so they couldn't light the elaborate set the final battle took place on ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) my guess... the group is He-man, man at arms, Ram Ma'am, Teela( the sorceress is a different being as she is seen in a clip and Teela heard her voice when holding hte sword in the trailer) , Cringer... and each have their evil master counterpoints... He-man - Skeletor Man at arms - Trap Jaw Cringer - Beast Man Teela- Evil Lynn Ram Ma'am - Uh... >_> <_< female triclops!? (Ok fine Rammy's hasn't been shown)

Some people owe Kevin Smith an apology after this. I've seen some comments from Revelation critics openly praising this actually, and preferring it to Smith's vision. Probably because it actually looks fun, there is a sense of playfullness, nothing cynical or mean-spirited, the boys and girls are treated as equals, it doesn't deviate from Skeletor's usual origin, and actually features Adam front and centre doing things It may be 'made for kids', but so were plenty of other highly-acclaimed animated shows from our youth that were way better than they had any right to be, so I wouldn't write this off just because we've aged out of the demographic. As I pointed out earlier, Bryan Q. Miller is showrunning this so it will have quality.

Oh look, a kids show where a straight white muscle guy is the lead character! Finally an end to the oppression the outrage merchants who only cared about any MOTU content as a means to generate clicks had to endure at the hands of women and the gays and their existing.
Seriously though, it looks like they took the focus group complaints about MOTU 200x to heart, more clothes, more focus on the tech side of the techno barbarian aesthetic. It seems like something kids will enjoy more than adults, which is kind of the point.

Keldor transforms into Skeletor like He-man and Adam... Also the definitive Skeletor is Keldor origin ... IS NOT his original origin. Skeletor was a being from another dimension in the original mini-comics, and in the original show Sorceress referred to him as "A demon from another dimension" Keldor wasn't officially made the same character as Skeletor until the 2003 reboot.

Well, that themesong is kind of generic, but I really do like the evil Masters designs. Not a huge fan of the powered up kids gimmick, but that is what it is, reinvention is good for the brand in the long run as it gives people a wider base of material and concepts to cherrypick for future series and avoid the backlash other recent series have gotten for doing 80s wrong because the fans are more used to change.
