I don’t like the look of it and I don’t really have any interest in it. It’s not my He-Man but that does not mean it’s not valid. With He-Man there were the mini comics, then the DC comics, the cartoons, the mini comics which adapted to the cartoons but not exactly, the Marvel Star comics, the New Adventures which had the cartoon and the mini comics being different.
There are so many He-Man interpretations that no one should really get angry for them trying something new.

New details on the new show from the Power Con stream {Spoiler}Adam is an orphan prince raised by a jungle tribe alongside Krass (Ram-M'am) and Cringer, who acts more as a parental figure to all of the cast. The power of Grayskull also now has a rival energy source that goes by the name Havoc, which is what Skeletor and his minions tap into to become Masters themselves. Skeletor, as Keldor, initially craves the power of Grayskull until Havoc gives him his abilities and turns him into what he is now. He decrees that Grayskull's power is inferior and vows to snuff it out

It's live now on Netflix, just saw the first two episodes {Spoiler}Good news is that it's far from 'simple', has a lot of heart and every character is likeable thus far...except for the villains of course, oh, and one other which may prove...interesting.
Also, very surprisingly dark....with Keldor killing a lot of royal guardsmen. We learn he selected the Havoc staff instead of the Sword of power the last time he visited Grayskull.
Krass and Adam have incredible chemistry and really gel as a 'family' with Cringer. Their rough and tumble playfight at the campfire in episode two is the sort of thing Adam never got to see much of in many of the franchise's various forms. It's so refreshing to give Adam a friend that really cares about how he's feeling and what he's determined to do.
And, yeah, Teela is really good too. Has a fear of cats, and doesn't seem quite as 'annoyed' with Adam as other versions, in fact she can be pretty concerned about him as well as respectful and sweet. I was expecting spicy banter between the two of them after she was incarcerated by the tribe, but was pleasantly surprised that wasn't the case.
I was a little dissapointed to see the tribe get sidelined so quickly, I liked the little junior 'Kitten' and something about the tribe's aversion to magic could have been explored more through the adults and led to conflict with Adam
And Randor seems to have become embittered by the effects of Keldor's coup and Adam's abduction. Like I said, it's...interesting, and there's going to be some tension between him and Teela when they meet

Saw the whole thing yesterday
The verdict: A lot of fun. Adam isn't set aside. Everyone is an equal and nobody is really demeaned. Most of the team got arcs. Skeletor is over-the-top in a very meta way, and doesn't actually have a formulaic "monster of the week" status quo, everything builds to just one big 'master' plan. My one gripe is that there should have been a few more extra episodes just to give each development breathing room, as before you know it, some things are only consequential for just one 25 minute instalment and then it gets resolved or glossed over in the next few.

So I decided to marathon this today. Fun show. {Spoiler}I'm not sure why Krass actually needed to exist. Her relationship with Adam was pretty much the same as Teela's traditionally is (sister figure/possible love interest), and Teela in this was basically just doing the Sorceress' traditional role. I would've just had Teela as Adam's Tiger Tribe "sister", and aged down the Sorceress to be the magic user of the team.
Interesting place to leave the cliffhanger. Not even a hint as to where Castle Grayskull wound up and what happened to its occupants. When Eldress said "a new adventure begins" I half expected them to wind up on Primus.

{Spoiler}I think it's because they want Teela to have one of the core origins for the Sorceress this time from the mini-comics, that she's Eldress' young clone (she says Teela reminded her of herself), there's still room for a love triangle down the road I suppose, but the major complication with Teela always was 'how do you make her the sorceress and queen of Eternos at the same time?', and Krass I think is just their way of settling that. Teela gets to devote her life to guarding Grayskull and Adam can ascend to king and raise a family with Krass eventually

I'm gutted at how little he appeared, ditto for the tribe. A little more world-building there would have helped

Some more news on the show from a source on He-Man.org who has been viewing screeners 1. Not all of season two is available to him, but all of the third season is. He watched the first episode of S3 but it gave away a lot of S2, which he hasn't seen in full yet, so he's resisting the urge to watch S3. 2. {Spoiler}Stratos, Man-E-Faces, and 'The Tri-Klops' appear. Stratos is described as having a jive/cool cat personality everyone gets on the wrong foot of on initial meeting. 3. Season Two is ten episodes, season three is only six

I know nobody cares about this show, but it really is so much better than whatever Revelation was supposed to be. Characters are more naturally funny and the one character with the biggest chip on their shoulder winds up taking their unwelcome tension to it's obvious conclusion. No shock value necccersary. Everything feels right and characters serve the plot than the other way around. It's a gem of a show and needs more attention. Give it a go.
