On a side note, i find it strange that HBK was honoring a legend despite the fact that in the storylines he was part of a entertaining heel group in DX in which they (along with the NAO) were rubbing their youth in old people’s faces as being very disrespectful to them.

The 90s were a crazy time. With how limited security was back then I’m surprised we dont have more stories like this. We were able to just walk backstage at the WWF house show in my town. And just chilled back there until everyone left. Hell when Buff Bagwell broke his neck on live tv in WCW there wasn’t even an ambulance at the building to come attend to him. Guess that’s one improvement in this era.
