Isn't Johnny Knoxville kind of above this now with his star power? The man has been in other better films then Jackass ones Yes, but he's also an utter lunatic.

(Not including Bad Grandpa as that’s a Jackass spin-off) If there ever was a time he had Star power it was when he was in Walking Tall and The Dukes of Hazzard amongst others and that period pre-dates Jackass 2. And even then he seemed more keen than anyone else in the second film even though he had “the most to lose”.

The scene with Wee Man getting in a fight with the other wee dude was the hardest I've ever laughed in a theater.

All of those films you mentioned were released in the early-to-mid 2000s, which was roughly a decade and a half ago (what's funny saying this is that some people act like we're still in the 2000s, when we are at the end of the 2010s). One of the more recent films that I remembered that he was in came out earlier this decade, which The Last Stand with Arnold Schwarzenegger. In fact, I forgot that he was in that movie

No thank you
I’m still mad at myself seeing the last one in the movies. I do not want to see a grown man shit on a big screen

I can honestly take Jackass more than any other prank show.
I'd rather watch a bunch of knuckleheads hurt and embarrass themselves than watch regular folks getting hurt and embarrassed for a dumb prank.

Jackass feels a lot of it's time to me (like the Attitude era) but a part of me is a little curious to what's it's like considering most of them are in their mid 40's now

I love The Ringer. It’s been years since I’ve seen it, but I remember that being way better then it had any right to be and way less offensive then I expected.

With its whopping box-office take of less than 2 million!
