I believe him when he says he's not coming back but it's pretty weird how he just vaguely denies it on twitter rather than explicitly stating things. He was the one who started it all too by saying he was fine on his podcast and coming back and doing the spear a few months ago.
IF he was just workin the markz I imagine he might want to come back just to go out losing and put someone over. From comments when he used to do the pod I'd imagine he'd be more likely to show up on NXT. Maybe show up at the Rumble, get into it with an NXT guy and then do a farewell match at Takeover/Mania.

They should sexy up Beth Phoenix instead. That will be his return feud, Beth Cucks Edge with....Mat Hardy Breezango are trying their hardest with their “helpful/friendly” job of the week tips, but Beth isn’t picking up what they’re putting down. Lmao

I'm truly excited about a potential Edge return. He has a great look, and carries himself like a star. His in-ring work was pretty good and a new lease on life should carry him to greatness. Lets see him pin Brock Lesnaar quickly after avoiding Suplex City and deftly countering the F-5. If Brock loses to a running hug then I will burn this forum to the ground. Or at least be a bit annoyed

Look, I’m not a doctor, but I find it hard to believe that a guy can go from “Impact your neck in the wrong way and you’re going to die” to “Hey, you’re good to come back and wrestle again” in a few short years.
I really hope Edge errs on the side of caution here.

I really hope Edge errs on the side of caution here. I mean, to be fair, we're coming up on 9 years this spring, so it's not like it was only a year or two. I get what you're saying, though.

Now watch as the WWE book him in TLC matches against middling talent to cut short his comeback.

Didn't Edge say a few months back that he and his doctors know his limits and that he's even been doing his own stunts on Vikings?

Coming from someone who is dealing with some neck and back issues from too many athletics in their youth (not anywhere close to the same level as him, I'm just sore and limited range of motion), I just don't want to see it. I get that it's his passion and all he ever wanted to do since he was about 10 years old, but there are only so many punches on the bump card that can be taken. I'd rather think that Adam Copeland is just living a great life with his family and every once in a while pops in with his best friend than to get one last run to leave on his own terms.

Or at least be a bit annoyed 1 million times this. Never been a huge edge fan(other than his comedy) I find him very unbelievable as far as in ring, and his heel character seems forced. If he beats Lesnar with a hug it'll be laughable.

I'd expect nothing less than a denial, even if he is coming back, that's usually how it goes. Gotta keep them big pops under wraps, right?
If he is coming back, well then I'm glad he's doing well health-wise (and I hope he is anyway, regardless of whether he'll ever wrestle again). If not, he's still going to be up there in the list of wrestlers I remember favourably, even if it took me a while to warm up to him back then.
You know though, I just commented in the "anyone else not really care about workrate?" thread a short while ago, and it made me think, reading this thread, that if he did come back then at least I'd know who he is. It's not something I've thought specifically about, but that's why I enjoy "nostalgia acts" and returns so much, because many of them are from eras where being a recognisable character was still allowed. I feel like I know who Edge is (was), what to expect from him, I remember some of the big moments, all that stuff, he is an entity in my mind. If he can still go, that's a strong aspect I would enjoy, just knowing that he's someone I can recognise as having an established character and track record.
But hey, if he's not coming back and this is all just rumour, fair play, I hope he's enjoying life off the road.

Because, when I watch wrestling, I think”This needs more fear of impending paralysis.” I mean, it’s his life, he can do what he feels is best. But, if he doesn’t return; I’m going to be cringing with every bump. There's no way he'd risk that with his family. Remember all the doom and gloom when Bryan returned? Yet here we are 2 years later and he's fine.

Dr. Nick: The arteries in your neck are filled to the brim with fat and cholesterol. This is a perfect buffer and completely negates spinal stenosis!

Edge returning would be a genuinely shocking moment but to be honest, I think everyone had made peace with the fact he wasn’t coming back for his own health and we all moved on (there may be a small section if edge fans who disagree)
I don’t know how you come back from super severe immediate retirement but for the sake of a mega pop and a big bag of cash....is it really worth it if you end up in a wheelchair.

Another thing, he'd need a new finisher I'm sure although I'm not sure what it would be. There's people who do better Spears and it took too much out of Edge whenever he did it.

Shawn Michaels managed to come back from a career ending injury. It's not impossible that Edge could do it too. If he's genuinely good to go, then it'd be great to have him back. I don't think any of us want him risking his health though.
