They have another PPV sell out, this time in under an hour.

Good news for them, I kind of expected to sell out as PPVs for them are not monthly so should be very special events.

AEW is curious in this regard. They're a pretty solid (and sometimes great) live draw but the TV ratings are sliding.

And how many of those were fans vs scalpers? Doesn't matter who buys them. They are bought and sold meaning AEW got money

AEW is curious in this regard. They're a pretty solid (and sometimes great) live draw but the TV ratings are sliding. I wouldn't call it sliding when it's gone up and done from week to week. Last week was way up from the week before and ext. Sure it not the 1 Million it started with but it has been mostly in the same range overall. NXT been doing the same thing it been up and down. NXT been maintaining staying close or getting ahead of AEW. But they been stacking there shows and have overruns but still it's been good. I wouldn't start worrying or call it a slide of they keep falling and not go up. Post Holidays we really are going to start seeing where they really at. Now it doesn't matter if fans or Scalpers brought them, Scalpers buying them is a good sign because they wouldn't be buying them if they didn't think they could resell them. Either way AEW got there money.

Great to see and no real surprise
They aren'y dying as much as people want to twist that narrative. Cody and the boys still on the grind and the product is still something to go see live. They just have to work out the kinks to keep drawing in the casual audience

The weekly shows aren’t always selling out (saw a couple of pics of this week’s crowd with big sections empty) but the PPVs continue to sell out. Good news for them.

The PPV continuing to do well is a testament to them. Just keep figuring out the hot venues for TV which theyve also been doing, feeling out the territories so to speak, and they should continue to do well. Happy for them!

The weekly shows aren’t always selling out (saw a couple of pics of this week’s crowd with big sections empty) but the PPVs continue to sell out. Good news for them. Considering these are live shows on Hump Day, it's almost a testament to AEW's popularity that a start up company can get good gates on perhaps the least ideal day of the week to be running live shows. In that respect, it shouldn't be that much of a surprise that their few weekend offerings are instant sellouts.

This might be the only thread I’ve ever read where scumbag tout vermin are seen as a good thing.
