If Ash decides to become a pro wrestler, he is so AEW bound due to his dad(look how he got Luther in the company)

Cool/lame Dad Jericho's natural endpoint is his son being around.

Jericho managing/wrestling with his son sounds exactly like what his next character change would be.

Everybody is one word.
But...it's pretty understandable why he doesn't call it the ED Claw.

In what is hilarious textbook wrestling bullshittery, I was watching a match Evil Uno and Stu Grayson had back when Grayson hadn't shaved his head yet and I guess they initially were feuding. The commentators for whatever indie this was claimed that Stu Grayson weighed something like 290 and that Uno was 350 pounds at minimum.
Stu, at best, would be like 190-195 now, and he has significantly more muscle than he did at the time. Evil Uno is probably like 220, maybe more, but not much if so. I understand that commentary will often exaggerate, but giving both guys like 100+ pounds seems like a bit much.

This is the kind of thing you can get away with when you have a tiny ring and the fans in house can't hear the commentary.

Omega vs. Moxley II had really awesome ending. I'm hoping Kenny Omega gets to wrestle against other big stars such as Kota Ibushi and Daniel Bryan in the future. His Impact appearance was excellent idea.

Loved that Mox took the time to point out some of the inherent issues with current angles and alliances then shrugged and went with it.
Wrestling just works better when there's somebody to aknowledge these things, it's what the best heel commentators usually do.

Ivelisse and Diamante need a better theme. The one they have sounds like a bunch of crickets rapping.

Taz reminds me of Teddy from Bob's Burgers. Especially so when he's warbling Tarzan Boy

I just thought of the parallels between the upcoming Shaq match and Ronda Rousey's debut at Wrestlemania with the celebrity having their first match on a big PPV stage against the king/queen of the company in HHH/Stephanie and Cody/Brandi. Of course Brandi got pregnant and had to be replaced though.
That match had pretty low expectations going in but ended up stealing the show at Wrestlemania and Ronda put in one of the greatest debut performances of all time. If Jade or Red Velvet can put on a breakthrough performance anywhere in that stratosphere then they'll be good to go.

The thing with Jade is that she'll probably be green but they will almost certainly have practiced that match a ton. She's also clearly fit and athletic. I get why people have low expectations but I think she'll surprise people.

I get why people have low expectations but I think she'll surprise people. Yeah, I'm frustrated that we know literally nothing about how she will be in the ring...but AEW seems to have had good judgment with promoting Anna Jay from trainee to roster member. Jade's been training for a good while from all appearances (she was in some group pictures with Red Velvet, KiLynn King, Skyler Moore, and Dani Jordyn before her debut), and there is successful precedent for hiring someone with a good look and an athletic background and training them under wraps until they are ready for a push (Big Show, Goldberg, arguably Akira Taue and Kurt Angle). Honestly, if she's at Anna Jay's level, or even close, then she'll be fine.

I think this was brought up, but Cezar Bononi's wife gave birth and then was diagnosed with Leukemia and is going through chemo, which is just so awful. Glad AEW is giving him dates and I hope he sticks around as PPAs muscle.

Ryan Nemeth was at the live tapings this week again
Was one of those guys I'm surprised was kept around. He had a decent match with Page though maybe they're giving him a few more matches on DARK to see what he's got

Jade needs a manager badly. A good mouth piece would do wonders, and hide the part of her that's really lacking.

I think Tarzan Boy should only be used when Jungle Boy is in singles action

I think Tarzan Boy should only be used when Jungle Boy is in singles action I agree, and Luchasaurus should have "Walk the Dinosaur"

While I like Jurassic Expresses theme and Marko even has his own good singles theme, it doesn't stun me that Khan wants to use Tarzan Boy a lot right now with how much he paid for it And the crowd they have is already 100 percent committed to singing it, pretty good foreshadowing...

Jade needs a manager badly. A good mouth piece would do wonders, and hide the part of her that's really lacking. I honestly think Vickie would be good for that. They already teased an alliance between Vickie/Nyla, Ivelisse and Diamante, and Jade, it just got sidelined by Brandi getting pregnant. A more formal alliance would be good. On that subject, it's almost a shame that Tay Conti is a good face, because she'd otherwise be perfect for Team Taz, given how Taz calling her judo moves helps lend a lot of legitimacy to her offense. Of course, Leyla Hirsch would be good for Team Taz, too. I guess I just would really like either a woman on Team Taz or a tag team, since he's got three singles guys who do things pretty differently and have different appeals, but benefit from the viciousness the Taz association seems to help bring out. I'd actually probably give Taz TNT if they become regulars. He obviously knows their father very well, and I think they would go well with him.
