I'm watching The Mandalorian and any time I see Carl Weathers all I think of is his Arrested Development role as himself.
What are some of your favorites?

NPH playing a fictionalized version of himself in Harold and Kumar goes to White Castle was fantastic.

Bill Murray in Zombieland.
Kate Winslet in Extras (there are better cameos in that show but this has to be mentioned due to the fact that she’s in a Holocaust film as she’s desperate to win an Oscar and then in real life a few years later finally won an Oscar for being in a film about the Holocaust)

I really enjoyed Zac Efron playing himself on Entourage.
Ari: I’ll get you a producer credit on College Musical
Efron: Very funny.

I liked Wil Wheaton on TBBT. Brent Spiner was great as a skeevy douchebag in it as well.

Elton John in most of his cameos. Kingsman, his SNL hosting (especially the Knights Of The Round), that Pepsi commercial, etc. Dude is insanely charismatic.

Extras been mentioned but a lot of the actors playing themselves where great, mostly the British actors IMO though, such as pervy Patrick Stewart and Daniel Radcliffe and his condom (already mentioned Kate Winslet is of course excellent)
"The Price is Wrong Bitch"
Eminem and Ray Romano in Funny People
Animation wise - Burt Reynolds in Archer, Jessica Biel in Bojack Horseman, countless Simpsons guest stars
underrated one is Elisabeth Shue in Hamlet 2
and Larry David in Curb Your Enthusiasm

Alice Cooper in Wayne's World (and yes, he counts as an actor, having had a starring role and other gigs over the years prior).

Elton John in most of his cameos. If we're counting musicians and singers, then I have to give a nod to Tom Jones in Mars Attacks.

I liked Wil Wheaton on TBBT. Brent Spiner was great as a skeevy douchebag in it as well. Say what you will about The Big Bang Theory, but most of the cameos of actors, personalities, and scientists playing themselves were great. Besides Wheaton and Spiner, LeVar Burton, Kevin Smith, James Earl Jones, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Stephen Hawking, and Adam West were all really funny. And while he didn't exactly play himself, Leonard Nimoy voicing a Mego Spock action figure was hilarious, too.

Hawking being an Internet troll was fantastic.
