I can't seem to get an answer to this question - Where did the meme format that has blurry text on a white background originate? Also, why is it seemingly the only meme format that people use anymore, while nobody uses Advice Animals, for example? Stuff like 'Son I am disappoint" is way more interesting than the blurry text, white background" format...and yet it's still at the top years later. And why is does it almost always say "when you *insert activity here"? It also kinda ties in with the "MS paint text labeling obvious things in a picture" format. Why is that so popular? It's such a lazy and boring one. I'm not frothing at the mouth with anger over this, just wished people chose a better meme format to stick with than that.

All I see is the chick screaming and the cat. Or that duck in a pond.
Can’t say I know what you’re speaking of.

Chick and cat and Baby Yoda are the only memes I've seen lately.
