I used my treadmill a lot this past summer but after a month I hurt my calves from the impact, which moved up to my back and forced me to stop after a month. I couldn't even stand up for a week.
My back is a little better now but today I'm going to try a lower impact elliptical. But I know I'm going to f*** something up. All that stuff in the poll has bothered me in the past.

Everyone's body is different, so we can't give actual advice. You said you hurt your calves, so they may get the first bit of pain. I have arthritis in both of my knees, so for me, it would be knees.
Logical answer: your wallet gets hurt. From buying the thing, and medical bills.

Yeah I went way to fast and felt it in my knees and hips, but when I slowed it down I felt pretty good. Took it easy. Went a kilometer (I think that's half a mile) in fifteen minutes

Should’ve got in here quicker, my guess was absolutely going to be knees. I can run, I can play ball, I’m in okay shape, but put me on a bicycle and my knees are f***ed within about 8 minutes

Whatever it’ll be, it’ll be so much better for you than a treadmill, those things are killers. Yeah it really killed me during summer. I went too hard. I tried doing the same routine I did in 2013-2015 and age has really caught up to me. And I started at the same routine but since I was off work I did it six days a week. Pretty damn stupid of me

Pretty damn stupid of me I mean, f*** yeah to that drive. But applying it to anything really (hiking, swimming, just walking)and elliptical is so much better for your body. I did a year of treadmills and my left knee was never the same again.
