Bryan was the bigger star as he had more time to showcase his career, but without Eddie I feel like there would be no Bryan, Punk, Rey, Del Rio ect rising to the top.

Eddie’s death sparked a long term conversation about the health of wrestlers.

Eddie. Many wrestlers have used the Three Amigos (or variations of the move) since his death.
Sasha Banks and Peyton Royce were also inspired by him.

It's a tough call for me.
On the one hand, a lotta wrestlers site Eddie as their inspiration, and he was one of the few times WWE's attempts to appeal to the Latino audience actually paid off.
On the other hand, Bryan was basically the top independent star from 2004 up until his signing, and you could argue that he was one of the guys who really started the "indy boom".
Plus, what puts him over the edge a bit for me is that he trained Sara Del Rey, who has gone on to completely revamp the womens' developmental system and produce arguably the best crop of homegrown female talent in WWE history. So for that reason, I'm gonna say Bryan.

I'm not personally a huge fan of Eddie, but his influence on the business is undeniable. Bryan has had a sizable impact on the business as well, and maybe surpasses Eddie in the future but not at this time. If you look at how wrestling looked in 1994 and how it looks today, Eddie has a hand in that large transition. Just a shame he didn't live long enough to see the fruits of his labor in the bigger picture of wrestling landscape.

Eddie’s death sparked a long term conversation about the health of wrestlers. This, while true to an extent, I think it took the Benoits for the business to really get the hint beyond superficial changes.

Eddie helped in revolutionising American wrestling and paving the way for a lot of the guys we see today. I think his death also had an effect on the business, in that the wellness of wrestlers was called in to question again, but this time a lot more was done about it.
I think Bryan has influenced a lot of today's stars and helped close the gap between indies and major promotions, but I think that is as much a detriment to the current state of wrestling as it is an evolution.

I honestly don't think that this question can be answered right now. At the moment, many wrestlers who grew up idolizing Eddie Guerrero and are plying their craft. I think in 10 to 15 years, we will see people who grew up idolizing Bryan and from there, we can better answer this question.

I don't watch EVERY wrestler interview obviously but I don't remember hearing anyone ever say they were influenced by D Bry. Maybe in 10-15 years when the next gen come through they will.

Eddie had a bigger influence on the business. Bryan had the bigger individual impact.
