R.I.P
Big fan of the guy, from Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band to the Rutles
Was lucky enough to see The Rutles perform live last year and got to meet him after the gig, seemed a really nice guy

RIP
If you have not seen it “The Rutles: All You Need Is Cash” is on Monty Python’s YouTube channel. I recommend you watch if you like a good mockumentarty
Also he did narration, music and the theme song to the 80s British cartoon “The Raggy Dolls”... that theme song was like the biggest ear worm, not seen it in over two decades and I think I still remember most of the words to it.

He was a incredibly nice guy. Had a ton of stories too! Met him at BeatleFest a few years back, we traded business cards and had some emails back and forth. Then I get a friend request from him on Facebook and his only comment to me was "Im here until I decide this is either too silly or too boring, for now I am here though"
I was a fan of the Rutles and his solo music. I told him I always enjoyed the fact the mixing on the rutles matched the mixing on the Beatles stuff and he appreciated that alot.

He was one guy I really wanted to see. This sucks. Reports now say he had a fatal heart attack.
RIP Neil. Here he is in George Harrison's Crackerbox Palace as his nanny and a guy with a duck hat
