A lot of people on Twitter are thrilled about this, but me, I'm trepidatious at best. As a person who's really enjoyed IWTV and what they provide, I'm worried about how a merger with SMV is going to affect their business model and presentation. If it just means that we're going to have more stuff on demand for the same price, then more power to them. But I see the word "merger" invoked, and the hairs on my neck stand up.

First announcement in regards to the merger is that Absolute Intense Wrestling will stream live on IWTV for the first time at the "Built to Last" event on Feb. 7th.
EDIT: And as of the ending of Beyond Wrestling's "Heavy Lies the Crown", Game Changer Wrestling will also be coming to IWTV.

My problem I found with IWTV when I had the trial was seemingly every promotion on there used the exact same pool of talent, I thought cool all these different promotions but everything I watched for all intents and purpose felt like the same promotion.

I feel like that may just be as much an indies problem as it is an IWTV issue, although it is undeniable that they're focusing on guys like Warhorse, Danhausen, Effy, David Starr, etc. Beyond Wrestling seems to be their bread and butter, so it makes sense you'd see a lot of the same people featured on there. The fun of it is discovering new feds and new talent you may not have ever heard of.

Hell, this is my opinion of most feds out there. I don’t know if this has changed at all in the last few months since I stopped watching anything current but I was fed up seeing the same guys in both Impact and MLW, and later AEW.

All of the talent got snatched up by either AEW, WWE, MLW, or GCW. So there will be overlap there somehow. I love all the feds on IWTV and I think its interface and search is better than NJPW World on the firestick

But I'd rather have it than use a browser on the Fire stick.
