The worst for me is a tie between my entire family getting murdered by clowns and Fallout 76

The first half of the decade was shitty. It goes: Buried Grandmother Had house bought under our nose by family member Went through many places with quality going down each time The second half though...rocked: -Got own apartment (which sucked but was able to get a better one a couple years after.) -Started my career in history (Volunteer tour guide->Temporary job as guide for a stone house->Part time job as assistant archivist/stone house -Financially well off. -Oh, and 2019 was an awesome gambling year lol. In the summer I won over $1200 in a day. I only gamble a few times a month at minimum bet so it paid off nicely. Well shit, that beats anything I did. Congratulations!

Best parts: The births of my nephews, finding my voice in certain things and trying to do stuff with those talents, getting more of a social life. I started to enjoy life a lot more and wasn't dealing with a lot of issues in my mind.
Worst parts: Dealing with certain issues. Being scammed or used for certain things. Getting fired from my job (All clouds have a silver lining, and I thought maybe it was time for something new).

For me, 2015 was probably the worst as there was a tidal wave of shitty things that happened that year, culminating in being homeless for 3 months.
2019 was pretty good; was off probation at work, felt better mentally for the most part, and got to travel a bit.

First half was great. Got my own apartment t. Landed a job with great pay and benefits. Did some traveling. Second half was shut. Lost said job. Grandmother died. Struggled to find steady employment. Watched my life savings evaporate.
Let’s hope the first half of this decade is like the previous one.

Highs were at the beginning: Did a bunch of plays, got nominated and awards, directed my own productons multiple times that garnered acclaim and then followed up by getting a job at Disneyland.
The lows were 2015-2017 when I became a full-blown alcoholic during my last relationship.

Best moments were Royals winning the World Series in 2015, getting my bachelors degree, and falling in love.
Worst had to be the school stress and job troubles as of late.

Low: started having seizures, and suffering mental abuse from my manager.
High: met my now fiancee, seizures haven't happened in about 2 years, and the manager was investigated for his mental abuse of me, and I wasn't the only one he hurt, so they moved him away from us. My nieces being born, and they're both adorable!!

I ended the decade on a high note by reconnecting with my college friends I haven't seen in years.
Decade's been up and down with my mental health struggles. But I'm in a longer term "up" period where I feel more confident about myself. Talking to other people with their own mental health issues as well as watching stand-up specials that discuss their mental health from comedians like Gary Gulman and Chris Gethard has also helped me with my own journey.

However, the 2010’s also brought the Jets back to Winnipeg. And as I sit hear openly crying about the fact the NHL came back to The Peg, I realise the 2010’s weren’t all bad. God do I love hockey, and I’ve been lucky enough to be at games from the old Jets and the new. F*** do I love hockey

broke 6,000 guitars and never drew a dime. Gotta say, first six years were pretty much the non-stop wild years of my life. In last four years, I've kinda put things in order of importance. I moved back to my home village where it's chill. I've actual interests in sane stuff and plans for future, ' will turn 28 in three days. Life's been pretty great and balanced right now, ' can't see anything other than illness or inevitable like death coming to rock this boat anymore. \o/

It's been a rollercoaster of a decade for me. I was 18 when it began so was enjoying the joys of legally being allowed to drink and had a big circle of friends. I also started my first job in 2011 which I am still at today, although I hate it now but circumstances have made it very hard to leave. Around the time I turned 21 in 2012 I was suffering from on and off staph infections that would plague me and put me in hospital twice before finding a cure in 2014.
The 2nd half of of the decade saw the drinking with friends die down to the point of being once a month if I'm lucky. I also lost my Granddad. In 2016 I met my girlfriend who would become my rock in the years that followed. 2018 and 2019 where the worst years with my closest friend cutting me off with no explanation. I confronted him on New Year's Eve in 2018 over Whatsapp and we had a fight that burned any possible bridges. 2019 saw me diagnosed with anxiety and gave me the worst summer of my life. I now start 2020 as a broken mess approaching 30 that's slowly starting to be repaired.
