Started watched Mayans on Hulu, and was surprised at how many f***s are said in situations where it would be really difficult for an editor to hide it. Is that a thing you can say on basic cable now? Yeah they do say “f***” on FX and FXX now. It’s pretty commonplace on Its Always Sunny and American Horror Story now.

Would be cool if they tried the Diddly treatment on FX/FOX, aren't Simpsons already there anyway?

Yeah, "1984" was the first AHS season I watched as it aired on FXX as was pretty blown away by all the naked f-bombs, lol

They don't know if they can say it or not, but they don't give a f***. The Cable rules are different than the "over the air" channels. From what I remember the FCC really can't enforce anything on cable networks.

The only reason there are standards on basic cable networks are to appease sponsors.
