Trent? vs. Mox gets my vote, but Allin vs. Cody was damn good.

Five Star Cody does it again. Huh, normally I've cut myself by this point of the post, but man oh man was Cody vs. Darby some great wrestling. Trent vs. Moxley was also good, and the women's four way was fantastic but Darby vs. Cody. Wow.

Loved Cody vs. Darby. The storytelling was top-notch, and I had to appreciate the audience just about turning on Darby for the pad removal only for him to get a face reaction by the time he used it - that is a beloved face and quality storytelling right there.

Yeah, Cody/Darby easily. Some of those counter sequences were top tier.
I want to also give some love for the Women’s 4 way because that was an unbelievably fun match and established people going forward. I’d very much like to see Shida/Statlander II soon please.

Really every match was on point tonight, especially like the fact they're finally turning Baker heel because thank god she's terrible as a face.BLE AS A FACE.

Cody vs Darby Allin was the best of a great crop of matches tonight, IMHO.

The women's match was a very fun and high-energy match. I was impressed with how well they managed the chaos of a four-way to have very coherent spots and nearfalls - building the story of the match around Nyla's power and excessive violence heeling, while Riho and Shida demonstrated that Japanese style finishers (wherein a wrestler will have a half dozen to a dozen different variations on a particular striking move, any of which could be a nearfall and any of which can be the finish if it hits enough times) work really well in the context of a multi-person match.

Trent vs. Moxley just for the last 2 minutes, that was the best part of the night for me.

Great night of wrestling. Cody/Darby is rightly winning, but I gave a vote to the women just since I really loved the home stretch. Even Britt got a few spots holding her own, even if the takeway before the pin even happened is that she's easily the weakest of the four competitors. To be fair to her, though, this is quite an interesting crop.
Riho did well for herself, but if she's going to retain against Kris, I hope she'll really rise to the occasion and bring something more interesting than 200 stomps.
