Seriously, it's like people aren't even willing to give them a chance, but, for damn years people have been begging for a new wrestling company to fill the shoes that WCW left after the buy out, we wanted the WWE to feel like they had to try and make their product better. So, we get that with AEW and all people have been doing is complaining and saying how they did this wrong and that wrong.
What in the hell do wrestling fans want? It seems like wrestling fans enjoy complaining about a show instead of just going and trying to enjoying it. Instead of thinking that they've seen a good wrestling show, they just focus on complaining about "booking" and "looking strong" is AEW perfect? No, but even if it was, I'm sure people would find away to criticise it.
The AEW stuff has brought a big issue that I have with the wrestling fandom that's caused me to get burned out. People don't watch the show as fans, they watch it as critics, they don't focus on the matches, the promos or the characters, they ignore that in favour of ratings and talks about 'The wrong guy going over' like they're flat out looking for reasons to not enjoy the show.
I might come off like a bit of a prick here, but I've just got to get this off my chest, being a wrestling fan in this time period is exhausting because we've got better wrestling than we've ever had and, in response to this, in response to the WWE having direct competition...fans are chosing to moan and complain.
