It's 2020 so we're going to get some smart-aleck asking "it's the future, where are our flying cars", but seriously, if such an item existed and was realistically priced, would you want one?

No. Vehicle wrecks are dangerous enough on the ground

I really don't feel comfortable with the prospect of driving as it is.

Personal flight would be pretty sweet if it could go faster than a regular car does. And I'm the only one who can use it.

So people can crash into big buildings? Yeah, no. Exactly this. There's enough terrible drivers as it is, f*** no do we need terrible pilots too.

I hate heights and I hate driving so NO
my brother did have a good point about that-- car accidents now are bad enough, imagine them in the air.

There would be lots of broken freakin' necks and mushed up people for sure. Would be a blast to watch COPS where police tried to chase someone on the fly. e: I also can't go higher than 3m , after that I start to have seizures in my legs. It's like the edge is calling for me and I'm 100% sure I would jump in panic.

We already got them.
They're called Aeroplanes.
Been going for a good 100+ years now.

We already got them. They're called Aeroplanes. Been going for a good 100+ years now. Not widely released for personal use, not as versatile in movement, not as affordable (relatively speaking) = not the same thing. And I'd only want a flying car if it could fold up into a briefcase like in The Jetsons (which strangely we only ever saw in the intro).

I'd rather have autopilot become standard, with only those who can safely pass more advanced driving classes (and pay a premium) being allowed to drive normally on regular roads.
Do whatever the hell you want in the country/your own property, strictly talking about reducing stupid accidents because depth perception is apparently an advanced skill all of a sudden for people.

Yes.
But only for me.
Seriously, people have enough trouble with the axis they have now without adding a z.
Also accidents getting worse it's one thing there are also breakdowns. You can ease a car onto the shoulders or worse come to worse get out and push...
With how people abuse their cars they'll fall from the sky due to disrepair constantly
