Reason 13543 why Flying Cars would end all life on the planet: Ever been in a busy Walmart parking lot? Now imagine giving those same assholes the power of flight.

Sure, if humans are taken out of the driving seat. I would laugh so hard if that was possible. ' just thinking about the moment, when the car starts moving... it's like from many of my dreams where I'm sitting on a car and it drives itself. It has happened countless times. I would probably risk my life for that experience!

I will say though that if I did have a flying car I'd want one like the one in Danger Mouse. Though because I wouldn't be used to it being how it was there, I'd want the driver's side to be on the left and not the right.

automated vehicles are gonna be here alot sooner than actual flying cars or atleast become the norm alot sooner.
There are just too many damn issues with flying vehicles.
Giving nutty people the ability to fly vehicles falling out of the sky Vehicles just crashing into one another or into buildings
And then there is the issue of how they would ever go about trying to police the entire sky...and trying to stop criminals etc
We are alot closer to Demolition Man than we are to BladeRunner.

I know and I'm pretty dead set with the idea that I'll probably never get into one. Maybe if I get a one month diagnose to live. Flying one would be worth the risk.

How about land speeders like in Star Wars? Just let them hover-not too high, but high enough we don’t have to worry about road work.

No
I don't even trust people to drive safely when they are rolling along the ground.
