548,000 for the awards show on Wednesday night. Pretty good for what was pretty much a clips show. They'll need a strong week next week, and I feel they made a mistake in not announcing a match or two to get people excited.
The show was 66th on Cable with a 0.15 P18-49 demo.

Both did really well against the Rose and Sugar Bowls. NXT pulled in over 545,000 for a clip show, and AEW got almost a million. That's great for what they were going against.

well don't forget too, for people without the network it could be the first time they've seen clips of those matches on NXT.
then again AEW had infinitely more viewers than last week as well.

Just a 0.15 in the key demo, which suggests the rating was heavily skewed older.

Little over half a million for a literal clip show is pretty damn good maybe even great.
But like said above the one mistake that may bite them is not announcing anything for this coming wednesday because now maybe viewers might assume oh it is gonna be another clip show so it is a throw away week.

NXT lucky it wasn’t worse, they been running on autopilot for the last two weeks smack in holiday season Full Sail Live being unavailable due to the Full Sail Campus being closed for the holidays probably left them no choice but to just run a taped show last week and a recap show this week.

Hmm didn't kno about the campus being closed but none the less we shall see how they get back in the swing of things by next week For two "throwaway" shows they did better then they probably had any right to but it shows you where they are in regards to people wanting their content even if no storylines are involved

Skipped NXT since I thought it wasn't airing so I imagine I'm not the only one. Surprised they did that well.

The way I see it from other ratings reports and such is that, at minimum, there's 500,000 people who will pretty much watch NXT (if not Raw and Smackdown too) on a weekly basis so honestly, I would have been surprised if it was any lower than that number.

I honestly beliece it might be a case of the nielsen system inflating the number.Mostly because it was an award show.Regardleas in business sense it is a good number. And taking the chance why cant cable just track views ? I would technology would have reached a point where it could be more reliable

It was a boring and cheap awards ceremony, so it's kinda great numbers after all.

Really about what I expected from it. It was a clip show so no real incentive to watch it live if you've been familiar longterm with NXT, but if you're a newer viewer it's a decent excuse to get caught up on some stuff, and it's not like AEW is the cup of tea of everybody watching so some people would rather just stick to what they know even if it's recycled.
