No poll for this one, because I don't want to list all those albums, and I might miss one. I mean a common question to ask Prince fans, what is your favorite Prince album, (BTW for me it is "1999") Bu what about the unofficial Prince albums, the side project albums, you know albums from bands and artists like the Time, Sheila E., Vanity 6, etc., which for the most part are Prince ablums, expect for the lead vocals, it is written, produced, arranged, and most instruments preformed by Prince himself.
Well this is hard, as far as pure funk and stuff during my favorite era of Prince (the early 80's), "What Time It Is?" by the Time is great, and my favorite albums. But I do have a soft spot for Shelia E.'s "Romance 1600" album, I really love the title track and "Dear Michelangelo" is really catchy. Also if just want a pure bubble gum pop album Vanity 6 self titled album is pretty good, even though the vocal skills aren't great. Don't want to talk ill about the dead.
I heard good things about The Family's self titled only album, but I have never heard it start to finish, need to get that album one day.

There was a leak online of Prince’s 1979 project called “The Rebels” which was his rock band with the original Revolution lineup. “Hard To Get” and his first version of “U” (a dance song he gave to Paula Abdul, here it’s a guitar jam) are total bangers.
