If you could go to either Wrestlemania Weekend or Wrestle Kingdom week for free, which would you do? Assume all expenses paid and you can go to as many shows as you'd like.

Mania weekend but that's cause it's Mania and I've never been before. Gotta go to the Showcase of Immortals once in my life.

I've always wanted to go to Japan, BUT I would want to go to WM this year just because it's in Tampa and I'd love to check out one of the birthplaces of death metal.
And see Roman Reigns.
But mostly death metal.

Wrestle Kingdom because it would be a cultural adventure too.
WrestleMania is in the US except two times in Toronto. That is not too foreign to me, but in Japan I bet I'd feel like an alien.
Now if you'd ask me which one I'd want to WORK...
That would be WrestleMania 100%. I've seen every WM either live or within months on tape since WrestleMania IV. WM means something to me.

If all expenses were paid, I would totally go to Tokyo watch some great wrestling and then go party to some kickass raves. Buy bunch of local posters and eat like a king. After that, I would use endlessly money to vending machines.

Mania weekend but that's cause it's Mania and I've never been before. Gotta go to the Showcase of Immortals once in my life. Went to my first one last year and it is a f***ing madhouse in the best way possible I've said this before but as much as people are cynical wrestling fans online, you go to that and you get none of those vibes. Everyone is out there to just clown around and have fun. I mean we were in the parking lot at 1 just drinking for 4 hours before the show even started and people were already deep out there doing crazy shit too like wrestling and doing commentary on a loud speaker

I’ve been to mania 23 but I would love to take my son. Being in TN it’s normally a day drive or a few hour flight.
I’ve never been out of the country besides Canada. So I would probably go to one WK show and then see the sights.

Has to be Wrestle Kingdom for me.
First off, expenses...traveling to Japan would cost me a lot more than going to most of the cities WM happens in, so having those covered would be very nice.
Second, I've been to a WM before: X at MSG back in 1994.
Third, I got to experience WM weekend here in NJ/NYC this past year and had a blast, but mostly because I didn't go to WrestleMania itself, I just went wild going to a ton of other shows, from the indies to joshi wrestling to the big MSG card. I just don't like WWE very much, and certainly not enough to be outdoors for 7 hours or whatever for it. Tied in with that, NJPW is my favorite promotion of all the wrestling I watch regularly, so getting to see it in a 40,000+ seat venue would be fantastic.
Fourth, there are so many other puro promotions I'd love to see live, and I'd love the experience of being part of a Japanese wrestling audience. I loved the atmosphere around the shows I went to for WM weekend, for sure, especially the GCW stuff in Jersey City, but I'd love to try something different.

Easily Wrestle Kingdom. Mostly because hey. it's an all expenses paid trip to Japan and that country is at the top of my list of countries to visit one day. As awesome as it would be to go to Mania and all the indie shows that weekend, it's still the United States or Canada. Heck, last year it was in my figurative backyard, so there's a big difference between flying to Tokyo and staying in a swank hotel and... taking the train into NYC and then going back home. Even if I stayed at a hotel, it's still New York, so it's not like it's a new or thrilling experience to me.
I'd also love to check out all the different Japanese promotions when in Japan like DDT, Dragon Gate, and the joshi promotions like TJPW and STARDOM.

I've done Mania week several times now, so WrestleKingdom is the easy choice simply because it's something that I haven't done yet (and I'm heavily considering trying to make it happen in 2021). I mean we were in the parking lot at 1 just drinking for 4 hours before the show even started and people were already deep out there doing crazy shit too like wrestling and doing commentary on a loud speaker That being said, one of the craziest things I have ever seen as a wrestling fan was Bourbon St. a few hours after Takeover: NOLA. A few of the dive bars were blasting WWE themes, and it was a tremendous party for a good portion of the night. People were grooving to AJ's theme, and then they played Nakamura, and all the people singing the song on the streets was absolutely surreal, and they pull up Balor's theme and everyone's arms are going in the air in between chorus of Too Sweets everywhere. It's one of those moments I wish more fans got to experience, especially as jaded as people get on social media to remind themselves it's really supposed to be fun.

Wrestle Kingdom, just because it means they're going to shepherd me through the inconvenience of FINALLY getting a passport.

Yea, as much as wrestling can be a chore it is easy to forget that it is supposed to be fun and generally the live events are sans your typical Raw or SD. I've been to Takeover which is a bunch of fun, been to the Raw before Mania which was fun and been to Mania now which is insane. Going to Mania was basically just insane wrestling fans dressed as whoever they wanted to be and having fun with it. Dudes literally in a Ric Flair and Macho Man costume with beers in their hand just doing stupid shit

Wrestle Kingdom. Been to Wrestlemania already and I wouldn’t go to one nowadays even if I hadn’t.

I was there too, it was so cool walking outside some of the bars and hearing Randy Orton's theme blaring in the streets that night, also went to a Wrestlemania bar crawl the next day before Mania and had a great time meeting fans from around the world and got to be on TV for the WM34 documentary. That said, I would go to the Wrestle Kingdom show just to say I did it and it looks so cool on TV.

Tough choice, but I wouldn’t be able to turn down an international trip.
