I figured this made sense as a separate thread due to the poll & the fact there's a lot of different routes to discuss. I'll do my best to not explicitly spoil the results of WK in this post.
Now that the two belts are owned by one man, how long will he be able to hold onto them? I've added the key upcoming events between now and Dominion, as I don't expect them to remain together afterwards.
The obvious outcome to is the winner of the New Japan Cup winning one of the belts. However, I don't see the HW belt being dropped before the IC is, so that would require the NJC winner to elect to challenge for the IC belt, which would be weird. This is why I'd added the vacate option, as we could maybe see the NJC be used to crown a new IC Champ?
I think it'll be the anniversary event as I think New Beginnings is too early.
