Due to the Summer Olympics in Tokyo, New Japan will have the G1 later in the year with the final three dates taking place October 16-18.

I'm a bit worried about guys not having enough recovery time between G1 and Wrestle Kingdom, so I hope they maybe don't go quite so hard this year, some of them. That being said, the winner will likely have more momentum than they usually do.
I wonder who all gets in this year, if we get new ones, like how last year's had a lot of new faces. Taichi would be excellent to get again, since I feel like he's an "easy night" like Yano serves as, but he does it in an entirely different way, and he can go harder when someone like Ishii provokes him into it. I also enjoy him as a Naito foil in general.
Lance Archer was a revelation last year, and I really hope he makes it in again. He brings something pretty unique.
I hope Bad Luck Fale doesn't take part this year, unfortunately. Rugby and wrestling have worn that man down a lot. Maybe let Chase Owens get a chance or something, see if he can rise to the occasion.
