We are coming up on a full 12 months since Cena had his last match which was a fatal 4 way #1 contenders match for the universal title on a throwaway Raw. I hope the guy eventually comes back for a proper send off/17th title reign. But yeah this is definitely the end of an era. I never could of pictured a wwe without Cena, but here we are

Man, I don't remember that fatal 4-way at all. I could've sworn his last match was the mixed tag with Becky against Andrade and Zelina, when Becky threw his ass out of the ring. lol

It feels less weird since he's had his foot out of the door for awhile.

Still dont know how this is important to some people. It's pretty clear wrestling isnt a priority for him since long time ago .

I miss John Cena, to be honest.
He's the hero WWE needs, if not the one it deserves.

Being from Adelaide, WWE only comes to my town maybe every two or three years (it’s like every alternate tour skips us), do they still deck all the mercy stands with Cena swag?

I wouldn't mind him making an appearance now and then, but if I never see another Cena, Kane, Big Show or Undertaker match again, it will be too soon.

If he were to return for a match I’d say let it be at Wrestlemania and against Samoa Joe. They both came up together out in California in Ultimate Pro Wrestling with Cena getting the WWE deal and Samoa Joe having to go the indie route. The promos would be great with joe bagging on Cena for leaving him behind and not helping him get to WWE.

Damn that long? I for one would welcome an occasional program involving him every now and then.
