My brother was so upset when Moxley joined the Circle but I knew there was a swerve and he was so glad it happened.
I voted 5. Matches were good but damn that women's segment was atrocious. First time I saw something that didn't involve a Librarian that pissed me off in this company.

I've gotta agree with the majority. It's a 7. I was looking forward to Riho/Statlander and that Nightmare Collective nonsense ruined it.

NC kinda sucks and that segment was bad. A lot of average on this show but two decent high spots so I gave it a 7

5.This show didn’t click with me. I like this version of Moxley than deathmatch geek Moxley. Good to see Jurassic Experience get a win. 2020 seems to be the year of the old man with DDP getting that push.I guess they are all out of new young talent they can push? Lucha Bros sure do lose alot. I get the feeling that DDP’s thing won’t be a sustained push as much as “dude’s an AEW-contracted guy who’s going to be on this cruise anyway, so we may as well use him”. I wouldn't mind if DDP was in A Dustin Rhodes like role, if he about to go of course. But if DDP is able to put over which he likely will and teach the young guy some things, I think it can be a benefit. DDP handling himself last night clearly his was of the Diamond Cutter are still there. Overall the show wasn't one of there best, just a middle of the pack show. Loved the Moxley swearve on Jericho. Brandi just no, that been bad. Didn't help on a story telling part that you couldn't hear a damn thing she was saying on commentary.

The only issue, from a kayfabe perspective, is that, while Dustin is getting up there in years, he's only 50 and he has never retired. He's been an active competitor consistently for 30+ years, so it's very believable that he could still hang with younger guys as he's still in "ring shape" on top of his veteran savvy. DDP on the other hand is 63...nearly 15 years older than Dustin and, more or less, a true senior citizen. He also hasn't been an active wrestler in something like 15 years. I know he's in great shape for a sexagenarian, and has a reputation as this new-age yogi, but it still is really hard to believe that he would be able to swoop in and go toe-to-toe with much younger, active, wrestlers. He'll be fine in this six man tag to just let his partners do the heavy lifting and swoop in and hit diamond cutters, but I think even a mini-run having singles matches would be disastrous and would justifiably be subject to the same criticism WWE gets when it dusts off old guys for the Saudi shows and whatnot.

7.
There were a lot a good things, but a fair few things I would have tweaked/changed/let simmer. At points it seemed there was just a little too much going on.
Still enjoyed the majority of the show.

This was kind of a dud of an episode. And it's a pity, because there was some good stuff on it wrestling wise. But this week felt like it made too many mistakes:
- The Nightmare Collective. Brandi's starting off a hotly anticipated match by saying she doesn't care and would rather sleep than watch it doesn't sound like good heel banter, it just buries your own product. And I'd rather have actual commentary than hearing her pick a fight with Excalibur. What's more, we've talked about how AEW uses legend talent, and this was their first big failure with that. Breaking up a hotly anticipated women's match to put over a guy is something that we rightly lambast WWE for, but a 51 year old that 99% of the fanbase has never heard of, and even less care about? It's disrespectful to Statlander and Riho that they're getting saddled with this. (I'm also not particularly happy that after waiting for Sonny Kiss to get an angle on Dynamite he's going to be part of this mess.)
- I loved the Dark Order bit, but it really emphasised how the Nightmare Collective being around doesn't just detract from their own segments but hurts the Dark Order by making them seem like a repeat, when they can actually be a hot act for them.
- Then we have DDP coming out, cutting a meandering promo about how he's back on TNT despite the fact he's been on the show multiple times before (and throwing in a smoking crack reference since I guess we're also tributing the more infamous Memphis moments - Hi Doug Gilbert, how ya doing?), then proceeding to single handedly defeat one of their ostensibly intimidating tag teams. This didn't help anyone.
- Arn Anderson telling people 'Nah, not gonna tell you what he's chosen' is kind of awful considering this feud has already been padded enough and we already had the tease of Moxley last week doing the same thing, and why is he acting like MJF is on the back foot when Cody was the one saying he'd give anything for a match with him?
- I enjoyed the Six Man match, but questioned why you're putting two of your most over face acts against each other. Luchasaurus shouldn't be getting boos, but when you have him cut off Orange Cassidy we all know that's going to happen.
- The Mox/Inner Circle segment was ok, and I liked the twist, but the multiple music start-stops just made it a bit awkward and like I was waiting for the show to fade out except it never did.
I really hope that next week is an improvement and that they learn some lessons from the online reaction to this one.

A few on this board are going to fall all over themselves to tell me how wrong I am, but I gave it a one. Easily the worst AEW episode so far and something that would cause me to stop watching altogether week to week if it continued. This company was supposed to be something different/better and we're getting a lot of shit (in my opinion) that is just as cringe-inducing and silly as the WWE's junk.
- The Nightmare Collective is terrible. Brandi is terrible. They need to scrap this altogether. - People on this board love it, I know, but Dark Order is not my thing. At all. Everything about it makes me want to change the channel. Also, Player Uno is really bad. - DDP coming out and taking out wrestlers in their prime is silly. Again, WWE-level garbage. I love DDP, but come on. - Ending a match with interference shenanigans like they did with Daniels/Sammy IS DEFINITELY straight from the WWE's playbook. - The ending segment was good, but it definitely went on wayyyyy too long.
