So we've had Chelsea Green make a few TV appearances recently after being on the Florida loop for so long... A match on RAW against Charlotte Flair, appearances on Main Event against Sarah Logan and Natalya... But it seems like she's staying with NXT, having cemented herself as a heel and aligning with a manager, Robert Stone (formerly TNA's Robbie E), as the first signing to his Brand.
This is a fascinating for many reasons. On the plus side, it could provide an interesting dynamic in terms of a male manager for a female talent, which hasn't been very common over the course of WWE history (Jimmy Hart with The Glamour Girls, Theodore Long with Jazz), plus there's also the intrigue of who else Stone may recruit to his stable, and that concept, one manager having a stable of talents under their watch, has also become very uncommon in recent WWE history. On the other hand... This only adds to the logjam that is the NXT women's division, doesn't do anything to resolve RAW's issues with depth in their women's division, and also leaves Deonna Purrazzo out in the lurch again as that possibly puts her Florida loop tag team with Green to rest before it properly makes TV (unless Stone recruits her too).
