I think this is more of an outlier. It is but it proves a point A decent QB can become hot and carry a good team to the championship. Kapernick was never fully great but he brought them to the SB, Flacco went on the run of a lifetime, Eli HOF career is based off two great playoff runs, Foles is the recent example It is no coincidence that whenever the team who wins the SB, the QB is all of a sudden considered one of the best in the league despite a few hot games Not really on the last point. Brady has won 3 of the last 5, the others Foles and a broken down Manning between then were never considered one of the best in the game at that point. Outside of that you have Wilson (maybe) and Flacco (no) over the past decade. Yeah Eli had two great Championship runs and hasnt one a single playoff game outside those two and he's going to the HOF.

They may have said he deserved to get paid, but he had one season with a QB rating over 90 and never made a Pro Bowl. Joe Flacco?

They were basing that purely off his superbowl run and nothing else bleacherreport.com/articles/1515189-joe-flacco-proves-he-is-elite-qb-with-brilliant-end-to-historic-postseason

He's certainly the voice of the nation. He had a great run in the playoffs. He has always been a mediocre QB and certainly wasnt widely considered the best post SB.

So you're telling me that Titans killed the Patriots AND the Ravens?
They just became everyone's favorite team.

As a Eagles fan who caught so much flak at work from Ravens fans about the Eagles and Carson’s concussion....
I say a big Thank You to the Tennessee Titans on bouncing the Baltimore Ravens our of the playoffs.
I’m going to blast bring my Bluetooth speaker to work and blast the beginning of Arrested Development song Tennessee over and over again.

I wonder how many people have the grapefruits to vote for the Titans to win the SB in next week's poll.

Well, I guess I feel a little better about the Patriots' loss to the Titans last week, considering they put forth a representative effort and didn't completely piss down their legs and literally run away from the competition (hey, Earl Thomas!) after buying into their own hype. The Ravens' total gag job last night has to go down in history as one of the great all-time playoff flame-outs.
