Good list. I agree with most choices, like Peanut Butter Falcon and Endgame being so high. Still have to see 1917 and Ford vs. Ferrari. You also mentioned a few that I didn't know about and will be checking out for sure!

Good list. Of the films you listed I’ve seen The Lightshouse, Shazam, The Farewell, Toy Story 4, Us and Endgame.
Only anime Fathom Events movie I went to this past year was Sound! Euphonium: The Movie

More people need to acknowledge that "Us" was better than "Get Out." Because it's true.

I'm glad you liked 1917 as much as I did.
Powerful film about a time that doesn't get enough attention, in my opinion.

World War 2 gets more attention because its more recent and it is easier to say who the good and bad guys. World War 1 is a bit grayer.

It's also because America didn't become involved in WW1 until the end. That's likely also why we stopped doing Armistice Day like the rest of the WW1 participants on November 11th, instead replacing it with the more general Veterans' Day.
I really want to see 1917 because there's so few WW1 movies. WW2 is certainly a more heroic war, but the brutality of WW1 shouldn't be forgotten.

Still need to see 1917 and Klaus, heard great things about both. But I'm with you on the Midsommar, Rocketman, Shazam and Ready Or Not love (that sequence with them watching the car video, I was dying laughing).

Good list, reinforces my lack of cinema trips in 2019 (plenty of good movies I missed that I need to see.) Godzilla: King of the Monsters is still my number one though ... I notice a certain QT movie isn't mentioned, i wonder if it is on your worst of 2019 list?
