Folks, this is not a drill! I repeat, THIS IS NOT A DRILL! I will say the same thing about this that I said about 2004's Spider-Man 2... Meh. You weren't the one who made the "Far From Great" video on YT about that film were you?

So a reddit user who gave accurate spoiler information for Falcon and Winter Soldier this week has apparently posted spoilers for this movie. Take with some grains of salt {Spoiler}Continuing the fall out from Far From Home, Peter is battling to clear his name and it leads to a court case (which presumably features Cox's Matt Murdoch)].
Meantime, the multiverse is collapsing and Doctor Strange is gathering up villains that are being displaced as a result. He puts them in a special prison. At some point, Peter tries to conceal his identity again using magic (think OMD/OMIT), but something goes wrong and he releases the villains from their prison.
Eventually, Peter teams up with McGuire and Garfield to thwart the villains, but William Dafoe's Green Goblin gets away. Someone dies. Peter gets emotional and almost kills the Goblin.
Film ends with Peter graduating high school, and everyone still knows he's Spider-Man www.comicbookmovie.com/spider-man/no_way_home/spider-man-no-way-home-plot-leak-from-reddit-user-who-accurately-revealed-tfatws-cameo-gains-attention-a184045#gs.yfi08e

No. I just feel that Spider-Man 2 is incredibly overrated and was never that impressed with Sam Raimi's take on the story in the first place.

I've never understood why this movie gets ranked with the top superhero films. I mean, it certainly isn't bad, but I honestly don't think it's anything special.

Considering it's one of the more faithful Spider-Man adaptations you'll ever be likely to see, has three-dimensional characters, strongly motivated villains, great action, great acting, it's little wonder it's so deservedly acclaimed

It is a goofy movie filled with contrived situations, horrible dialogue, a love story where the romantic leads have absolutely no chemistry with each other and their decisions incomprehensible, absurd mugging from its actors, and a silly villain that made so many stupid choices it was impossible to take seriously. It's the Shane Douglas of superhero movies. It found a great act that was ahead of its time and built up a following for it, but in a couple of years a bunch of other people were doing the same act so much better then he ever could and all his shortcomings become blatantly obvious.

For me Raimi's Spider-Man is like a very well made meal in a food group I'm not that fond of. I can recognize that technically everything works, especially in regards to the story; its just that its so Silver Age in its sensibilities that its hard for me to get into it that much. I'm glad Spider-Man got some well executed movies and that they were so significant to superhero films, they just don't do anything for me.

Folks, this is not a drill! I repeat, THIS IS NOT A DRILL! Damn. Years and years of fans theorizing Ock could have survived that and his story would be finished. Never thought it’d happen.

This really does sound pretty f***ing cool.
I think this is the Marvel movie I'm most looking forward to currently.

The spoilers sound pretty cool except: {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW} It's a real bummer that the MCU has such a boner for NO SECRET IDENTITIES. It's okay to have both public heroes and ones keeping their secrets.

There are few Marvel characters I care less about than Spidey, and I didn't much like the previous movie incarnations either. {Spoiler}But I'm all about Cox's Daredevil, so I'm hoping he has a decent role in this.

This... sounds like it might be a bloated mess... and Sony forgetting why ASM 2 and part of why Spider-man 3 was such a mess...
I mean I might be wrong but with everyone reported to be back they can't possibly give you enough time for all of them to be able to do something...

Not the Sam Raimi universe Goblin...but he’ll be from the MCU...and the former Avengers Tower is now Oscorp. They decided the leaks about Ock and Electro were already too much and wanted his reveal to be a bigger deal in the movie so was supposedly cut. (There were other reasons including hammering out the contract and the Covid filming fun.)
As far as the major character that Osborn kills...we’re coming full circle and Tobey Spidey is going to sacrifice himself isn’t he?

Yeah, now I'm pissed.

Yeah, now I'm pissed. {Spoiler}I’m still convinced Ralph is Quicksilver honestly and was Woo’s “witness protection”. If Strange is locking up the bad guys that are randomly jumping dimensions...nothing to say that Woo and the good guys aren’t helping displaced good guys hide out while Strange works on a plan to get them all home. He was supposed to play a bigger part in WandaVision’s last episode so it possible they can play with that plot thread later if they wanted.
I’m still partial to Wanda ending up in the FoxVerse while dimension hopping in Strange 2 just for Peter to get his ass whupped for no reason and he has no idea what went down.

I know there were flimsy rumors recently that the MCU wants to keep Tobey around. When I read that my initial thoughts were MJ or Happy...but that’d be ballsy.
