What is your single favourite spot that you've ever seen in wrestling?
I don't mean a recurring spot like Flair being thrown off the top, I mean one specific instance.
If you'd asked me six months ago I wouldn't have an answer for you, but then I saw Joey Janela get monkey flipped while sat in a chair, and land still sat in the chair. It immediately became my single favourite spot ever.
What are some of yours?

Samoa Joe's walk away from an opponent's move.

Rock missing Foley with a chair and hitting the ropes instead bouncing the chair back in his face.

The end to the Steiners Vs Money Inc cage match.
Still haven't seen it ripped off and there's rarely even a match with the same rules. There's so much that could be done with it.

It might be Austin hitting a perfect Stunner. A smooth kick to the gut, turn, and jump. Where Austin's ass and the opponent's knees hit the mat at the same time for a loud pop.
That's as good as a smooth 6-4-3 double play in baseball. 😊

Bret doing the figure four on Austin with the turnbuckle at Wrestlemania 13.
I saw that match on VHS as a kid, and that spot stuck with me for many years.
It didn't look too contrived, it looked painful as hell, and was just as memorable as a submission spot can get.

He has the looks of Andre the Giant, and the strength of Barry Windham. Not to mention he's a hero to a few armadillos, a kangaroo and a small herd of bison.

Alabama Doink said mine, but The Spinebuster That Appeared As If From Nowhere is my favorite.

WrestleMania 7 - Warrior catches Savage from the top rope but instead of slamming him, he puts Savage down and slaps him across the face. Really sold the story of the match.

Mine is pretty recent but it made me mark out.
Dustin Rhodes asking for a time out to "catch his breath" and then beating the tar out of Sammy Guevara.
I lied and I'm sorry I lied. My FAVORITE spot ever was during the Golden Lovers vs Young Bucks match. Kenny went for the Rise of the Terminator (the dive over the top rope) and Nick stopped him with a superkick on the apron. Between the horrified look on Nick's face, the feathers flying off of Kenny's ring gear, and Josh Barnett screaming "He kicked him so hard the G-d Damned feathers flew off!" it was just...it was magical.

For spots that happened just once that I know of, without being imitated, and maybe should be imitated but only sparingly:
Kenta Kobashi covering Misawa with his body to shield Misawa from their opponents (the 6/9/95 Kobashi & Misawa vs. Taue & Kawada match). This was my second Kobashi match, first match for the other three, and it made me a fan for life because of the emotional stakes of that moment (happening after Kobashi was practically eliminated from the match due to the assault on his leg and his inability to get the fall off of his moonsault).

As sick as it is, THAT Tiger Suplex from the ramp to the floor in the Misawa/Kobashi GHC Heavyweight Title Match.
