It seems like Kit Kats, Pop-Tarts would be something that could easily lend itself to a bunch of weird flavors. I figured Japan would be on top of this. Yet, after an intense 20 second Google search I’ve determined this is not the case. The best I could find is this: www.delish.com/food/g3378/every-pop-tart-flavor-ranked/With that list really none of those strike me as that weird. Where is the Green Tea Flavored Pop-Tart? The Bacon Flavored Pop-Tart? The Cheese and Broccoli Soup Pop-Tart? Or do they just take the rejected Pop-Tart flavors, tweek the recipe slightly, and turn them into Hot Pockets? |

I've been waiting for Poptarts to try some savory options. Something like a chicken in a biscuit or cheese-it style flavor. Or the savory/sweet combo. Like Bacon Jam interior with maple frosting. Or maybe like a Poptart version of a Combo. Like a yeasty flavored crust with herbs, and that cheese filling.

Or maybe like a Poptart version of a Combo. Like a yeasty flavored crust with herbs, and that cheese filling. In my weird flavor options I was even tempted to put maple bacon. But maple bacon donuts are actually delicious so it’s not that weird. Instead I just put bacon which by contrast seems a little weirder for a Pop-Tart since it doesn’t have the sweet to compliment the savory. |

They just came out with Fruit Loop Pop Tarts.  And they also just came out with pretzel Pop Tarts.  We have these in my store. I guess they're selling ok. |

All I know is that the few "weird" ones they have tried and that I have sampled have been terrible. They had an orange cream one that was repulsive and an A&W root beer one that was somehow even worse. They should stick with what they are good with.

Reporting back after picking up the aforementioned Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel Pop-Tarts...they're damned good, and I'd be severely disappointed if they are short-lived.

I concur with this statement its the most exciting thing I’ve had in my mouth in at least 8 weeks.That is the highest praise I can give something edible. |

I don't know if I'd call it weird but I legit miss the Blue Raspberry Poptarts. They were very strange but pretty good.

I loved the peanut butter Pop Tarts, but they just weren't long for this world. At least around here.
