It was shit the first time and some of it was in extremely poor taste. People saying "oh it was a different time" to excuse it are full of shit too, it was from the early 2000s not the damn 70s.
thank god TV viewership is way more fragmented nowadays so there'll be less idiots running around shouting the catchphrases.

A vile and offensive show that belongs in the 70s, no way will this be accepted unless its toned down

Still, I wonder if they get the MacFarlane/Parker-Stone pass to do whatever they want anyway. The content didn't bother me, for the most part (though I can see how most of it doesn't hold up), it's the reliance on the same old catchphrases and same old routines every episode. The scenery changes but the jokes don't. And BBC...if you want an outrageous show rebooted, and one that is less repetitive, MONGRELS IS RIGHT THERE.

Never got the appeal. Granted, I've only seen a couple episodes, but to me it seemed like they wrote five sketches and kept repeating them every time.

I'm only aware of its existance at all because a couple weeks ago, YouTube suggested stuff about Little Britain to me out of nowhere. I'm not easily offended, but even so, it all just seemed incredibly stupid.

I quite enjoyed the first series.
But after that it tried to hard to be gross and offensive.
Not really interested in it returning personally.

League of Gentlemen is way, way better Yep. Better written, better acted, better production. Granted, they’ve gone for a slightly more sinister approach with some of their work whereas Little Britain is more for the adolescent audience. Why not bring back Come Fly With Me? I thought that was hugely underrated.

Always a great show. The Dennis Waterman skits were pure gold.

I liked it at the time but I was just coming out of my teens which is my excuse lol
Looking back, yeah what was I and others thinking? Also what are the BBC thinking especially considering their budget is being cut
“Hey Tony. Listen we have to save some money and make some cuts to some of our stuff. So whatever we spend our money on has to be a really spot on idea”
“.......What about a Little Britain revival in 2020”
“Tony.......You’re a f****** legend son”

I love the show, but just because it's completely ridiculous and I love ridiculous things.

Like a few other shows from the late 90s/early 2000s, there were a few fun moments of absurdism that got lost in the utter dross in a vague attempt to be shocking. And that's putting aside that it was repetitive as all hell. I fail to see anything it could bring to the table now, because it wasn't bringing it decades ago when they were young and hungry.
And if I want to hear Tom Baker doing voice work (assuming he wants to return anyway), he does Big Finish plays now.
