I got into wrestling around seven years old because my grandparents watched Superstars and Wrestling Challenge, with my grandpa ordering the odd PPV. I actually had WWF bedsheets before I seriously started keeping up, so I knew *of* guys like Hogan and Savage. Randy caught my eye because I loved his finisher and the newer neon cowboy look, it felt like he was someone...I dunno, evolving into a stronger form?
Bret stood out because again, cool finish, cool moves and he looked like a superstar "of the future". He just came off like this confident, relatable badass. I didn't mind Hogan, but because of the balding he felt like the "grand old man", even more than Ric Flair did. First time I think I saw Ric was the attack on Neidhart's leg and Roddy Piper wanting to kill him. At first glance I thought Ric would have this dignified, calm demeanor because of the robe and music, they're hyping him as this technical legend. And then he talks, and oh wait, he's actually out of his mind. I liked how different he felt, plus he was funny.
When I'd talk about it at school I found we all loved Undertaker. How could you not? He was like a zombie terminator, he had the coat and ominous music. We didn't know about "the business" or how he pulled off the weird stuff, we were kids and all we cared about was that he was cool.
The Rocker breakup and Hogan and Taker's fight at the funeral parlor were the angles that I think hooked me to stick with it.

The Rockers were my favourites and my earliest memory of any wrestling I think. Probably around 1991/2ish. I just loved their look and their double team moves and high flying.
