So let's compare these weird 80's shows, two about aliens, two about a family and some outsider they have to hide their identity from the world.
This probably will come down to ALF and Small Wonder, bing that Out Of This World is consider one of the worst shows of all time.
One thing I liked about ALF, is they had development in the story, more characters found out about him, while on the other two shows, you don't have much movement on that.Very status quoish.

I like them all but I voted for Small Wonder.

I barely remember that Out of This World even existed so that's out.
Small Wonder feels like the height how even the most meh comedy could survive in the monolithic 80s television landscape. And if you don't believe that, remember that as much as pop culture has rendered it as brief bit of gimmicky nonsense, it got 4 season and close to 100 episodes with that premise. The original Adams Family and the Munsters, shows regarded as quirkly classics, didn't last as long as this damn show.
ALF is still amusing as a bit of 80s kitch so it basically wins by default.

I tell you I always at some point in the series, Harrett should have found out Vicki was a robot. I understand the two reasons not to, first was who father was, the main antagonist of the series, but if the Tanners can trust Jake with the series, so could the Lawsens. Your parental linage should not define you. And the other reason, the more realstic threat, she would black mail Jamie into going out with her. Still I thought that should have happened.
When I was a kid I always assumed ALF and Out Of This World were in the same universe.I was waiting for them to do a crossover.

I had a mad crush on Maureen Flannigan back in the day, so I’m voting for Out Of This World.

Out of this World had a pretty catchy theme song.

Very hard for me to choose, since I loved all three of these shows! I went with Out Of This World, because there actually seemed to be a resolution to the story.

How about "What A Dummy!"? The show about the family who has a wisecracking ventriloquist's dummy.

I've always had a story idea where ALF, Vicki, Evie and Andrew Clements from My Secret Identity have to team up to stop an alien invasion. I should really try to write it someday.
Anyways, I loved all three of these shows, but ALF was easily the front runner of them.

I have some fondness for ALF and Small Wonder alike, but voted ALF by virtue of that I remember liking reruns of it as a kid, and the theme song being really damn catchy in 8-bit.
Also, is it just me, or did ALF kinda sound like someone doing a Tony Danza impression?

I tried revisiting all of them as an adult and good grief they're all terrible.
Alf by default as I had the stuffed toy, an Alf for Prez t-shirt and etc.
But man 20 something me was disillusioned when I saw it sometime in early 2000.

I was really into Small Wonder as a kid, with Out of this World as a close second.

This is hard. I remember watching ALF and having the stuffed ALF doll and I remember watching Small Wonder but I don’t remember ever seeing Out of This World.

I'm an 80's kid, but I don't remember Out Of This World.
I watched Alf and Small Wonder though, but liked Alf more. He was like a Jewish alien, which I appreciated as a Jew.
