This is a pretty cool find. It is the first, much lesser known version of a scene from "Army of One," the season 3 finale of The Sopranos that premiered on May 20, 2001.
Initially, Fairuza Balk played FBI agent Deborah Ciccerone, who was sent undercover to befriend Adriana La Cerva (played by Drea De Matteo). When production began on season 4, the character was recast with Lola Glaudini taking over the role. For continuity purposes, David Chase re-shot this scene with Glaudini replacing Balk. All re-broadcasts and releases of this episode since June 2002 contain Glaudini's version of the scene with the original not even included as bonus content on the DVD/Blu-ray releases.

Poor Vicky Valencourt. Didn't she go crazy or start really believing in witchcraft and stuff, so people stopped casting her?

Interesting, I was watching the show, as it aired, back then. And I remember them recasting the undercover FBI agent. But I had no recollection of it originally being Fairuza Balk.

Seinfeld did this a lot. Larry David originally voiced Newman, as an unseen character. When Wayne Knight was cast to be Newman, Larry had him go back and re-do the lines, so when it aired again, he'd always be Newman. He did the same when Jerry Stiller was cast as Frank Costanza, re-shooting a huge chunk of an episode. They wanted to do it for Barney Miller and his role as Morty, but too much time had passed and the set was different, so that got left.
