So watching some old episodes of Punky Brewster on the NBC website, some of the more intense episodes that Punky was infamany for. Episodes like "Cherie's Lifesaver", "Changes", "I Love You Brandon", etc., and I am thinking how much easier would things have been resolved, if Glomer was there. "Changes" was a 5 part episode, if Glomer was there, he could magically make Henry better, problem solved much sooner.
Glomer's Dexa Macha skills could have made these dramtic episodes less dramtic.

I didn't know the animated Punky Brewster series was based off a live-action series for like 12 years, if not longer. I was born in 1982 and somehow never saw it on NBC or in syndication. I thought it was just some wacky idea that someone made up for a cartoon.

Though maybe I did, and I don't have memories of it.
