Razor Ramon (1992-1996)
Scott Hall (1996-2000, 2002)
He made have had more success as "Scott Hall" in WCW, but in the WWF, he was always taken as a threat and not a joke like Hall did by 1998 and 1999. I really wish Scott Hall had one babyface run in WCW, just to see if he could recapture the magic of "Razor Ramon". His legacy will always be nWo but Razor Ramon was such an underappreciated character for it's time.

Razor was more of an actual CHARACTER
plus moments like the 1-2-3 kid upset and the Goldust angle stand out more to me

I literally only voted for Scott Hall because that was the version I grew up knowing.

the character of Scott Hall had more potential than Razor Ramon, but his real life personal problems (and WCW's genius idea to make those problems a prominent part of his on-screen character) hampered that

Razor was an actual character so that wins by default

If he was therapying his midlife crisis as razor, that'd been alright. Same applies for Kevin Nash too.

Scott Hall was taken much more seriously as a threat than Razor Ramon. Apart from Ramons first feud with Bret

A guy who got helped the greatest angle in wrestling history get over, an angle that still sells merch today... or... a white guy doing a racial stereotype sprinkled with some misogeny and homophobia. Kind of simplifying it, but still.
Not one to dispute anyone's opinions, and I did enjoy Razor Ramon, but nWo Scott Hall was transcendent.

Scott Hall.
Maybe razor Ramon was good at the time but it hasn’t aged well at all, hokey new generation rubbish.

Hall, I guess. Honestly, Hall's various characters became evolutions of one another rather than radical departures, mannerisms he started using as the Diamond Studd became his trademarks as Razor and then NWO Hall, thankfully he dumped the accent.

I voted Ramon by default. Halll wasn't really a character, just Hall being Hall.

Giant wrestling Tony Montana wins. Razor wins solely for the debut vignettes, that stuff was pure gold. I loved his anti-PSA advice of drop out of school, chica’s are for fun, etc. Hilarious Homer Simpson level advice.

Hands down it's Razor. But Scott Hall/Razor Ramon is one of the true unsung heroes of pro wrestling to never win the big one in my opinion.

I kind of consider them one and the same. Scott Hall when he was brought back into WCW was basically supposed to be Razor Ramon invading from WWF until they were forced to stop implying that. So "Scott Hall" is more of an evolution of Razor Ramon to me than two separate things.

They were not THAT different. I prefered the WWE presentation of Razor, but highly enjoyed Scott's nWo stuff

Character wise, Scott Hall felt like a huge deal. Even though I wanted to see Razor win the world title at some point, him and Nash were just under Hogan in stature. Razor had a cooler look, however.
Mind you I’m talking about Hall before the Last Call stuff, which was pretty bad.

It's Razor. Hall was a coward drunk in wcw when he returned in 2002 he got his asskicked more than anyone else in nWo. Razor Ramon had a cool factor and he made the IC title mean something. Razor was a winner while him as Scott Hall seemed like a loser.
