She was inducted to Hall of Fame by the whole division already and was even a part of the battle royal, can't go really bigger than that. \o/ I've no idea what to do with her if she happened to come back to wrestling, years ago I'd loved for her to pair up with Austin or Sweeney in ROH, though. She's probably too old now.

Or is he one of those "influencer" people I keep hearing so much about?

I'd like to see her back in the wrestling business if she sorts herself out. WWE treated her bad and cast her aside just like they did with Chyna. Did they though? By all accounts, she had her demons and was unreliable at the end of her WWF run. She went rouge and appeared with ECW instead of rehab. And then later on, WWE did send her to rehab, and then again. One of the times she outright refused because they weren't sending her back to the "nice" rehab. She hasn't done herself any favors, unfortunately.

This was the thread that inspired me to join the board after lurking for ages. I’ll have to revisit it now for nostalgia purposes. If there’s a Sunny thread, you know that Todd isn’t far behind.

Is...is it bad if I once thought Conrad Thompson was Todd?

I know you guys laugh with Todd not at him but I must say I've known Todd for about 20 years through messaging on different websites and he really is a good guy, very honest, do anything for anybody type of guy. He didn't have the best childhood and like most kids may have turned to something to cope. Todd turned to wrestling and tv and movies and thus you see him wanting to meet a lot of the people he grew up watching and that made him happy. With all his knowledge of the celebrity and sports memorabilia business he should be an agent of some sorts but I think prefers a quiet life in the area he grew up.
On the other hand, Conrad Thompson seems smarmy as heck and seems like he would sell his mother or first born for pocket change if he needed it. He shouldn't be anywhere close to Ric Flair or his family without breaking a restraining order. I don't wish him ill will, he just comes off as someone I wouldn't enjoy associating with.

I half expect this thread title to change to "Sunny back in prison" by the end of the week.

She's probably too old now. I've said it about Jake Roberts and I'll it about Tammy - she needs to stay as far away from the wrestling business as possible for the rest of her life. It's a toxic relationship that will never end well for her.

Is...is it bad if I once thought Conrad Thompson was Todd? Now I'm imagining Conrad doing a podcast with her- "Hot Takes With Tammy".

I think what worked with DDP and Jake Roberts and Scott Hall that might not work with Sunny is that the three guys all had history. There was an emotional and mental and maybe spiritual connection with the guys. They saw it as a friend reaching out where Sunny would have no connection.

So, knowing how many times she has been busted for DUI, and she's back out now. What happens if she gets busted again? Like, is it just "oh, another 6 months in jail, then you can get out and do it again," repeat, repeat, repeat? At what point does she get permanently locked up? How many does it take for that to happen? Does it ever happen? You'd think she's been arrested for it "enough times to qualify" already, no? Is it at least a guarantee that she'd never be legally licensed to drive a vehicle again? They wouldn't give her a drivers license again, right? She’s had her license revoked for a good long while and just did a year for a traffic crime. She probably won’t be legally able to drive again ever, but that’s not likely to stop her. If she gets caught, another year or two in jail, but unless she actually hurts someone that doesn’t sound unreasonable to me.

I'm as liberal as they come but even I know the criminal justice system is broken in handling different types of cases. I worked as a case manager for homeless men and women for many years, most which had drug and/or alcohol addictions and sadly from my experiences most never get over it. The only permanent stoppage to the addiction is death or old age. And unfortunately most case management sites or rehabs only serve as a revolving door for them during the legal processes in trying to get lightened sentences. Of course there are some who do make it out of the addiction but they have to be some sort of miracles.
