She’s had her license revoked for a good long while and just did a year for a traffic crime. She probably won’t be legally able to drive again ever, but that’s not likely to stop her. If she gets caught, another year or two in jail, but unless she actually hurts someone that doesn’t sound unreasonable to me. To me, like... 8+ DUI's plus driving drunk even while having your license revoked shouldn't "reasonably" be a "wait for her to actually kill someone while driving intoxicated before more is done to stop her" situation. Like, someone with that history, if caught behind the wheel of a car again, should be given 10 years. That's REASONABLE. There’s certainly an argument to be made for that. But when you consider the enormous cost of incarceration, I think you have to lock someone up for what happened rather than what MIGHT have happened. If Sunny got ten years after like, 8 DUIs, I could absolutely see the logic there. But if I’m the prosecutor who has to try the case, a couple years for someone who just seems chronically unable to make wise decisions about when to get behind the wheel may also sound like an ok option if they have not caused any major injury or property damage. A better argument might be made from legal precedent, but I feel like there can’t be many people who have as many DUIs as Sunny.

A better argument might be made from legal precedent, but I feel like there can’t be many people who have as many DUIs as Sunny. Likely because at #3 or #4, they did kill a few people in a car wreck. I looked it up, and in Texas you’re looking at 10 years for even your third DUI, but the state code does not seem to specify penalties beyond that. Sunny has six, and a San Marcos resident got life for their sixth with no PD or injury. Just got pulled over with an open beer in the car and blew over the limit. So, sounds like the precedent is potentially there for a much longer sentence, but one of the largest states didn’t think it was necessary to codify laws beyond 3 DUIs. Sunny is in rarefied territory.

I didn't pay attention to this thread back in the day, I'll go check it out... (10 minute later) That thread has lost so many pictures, but there's still a few up. It's interesting to see Todd's still hard at work even today. Here he is a few weeks ago cutting a promo at a Good Burger cosplay:

I think what worked with DDP and Jake Roberts and Scott Hall that might not work with Sunny is that the three guys all had history. There was an emotional and mental and maybe spiritual connection with the guys. They saw it as a friend reaching out where Sunny would have no connection. I’ll go one further: Jane and Hall actually wanted to get better. They had both hit their bottom and were ready to start climbing back up. I don’t think Tammy has hit her bottom, as amazing as that might sound. And surrounding herself with enablers is part of that. She has to actually want it for herself, not simply for the sake of another one-shot appearance on TV.

Is...is it bad if I once thought Conrad Thompson was Todd? Now I'm imagining Conrad doing a podcast with her- "Hot Takes With Tammy". Chat me up, how big is Shawn Michaels’ BANNED!

She got released from jail just a couple weeks before all hell broke loose, and then found a way back in just as things were reopening. Amazing.

I wish that she would get help. She is unfortunately a walking meme, because of her issues. Seriously, get help. People want to root for you. They don't want to laugh at your mugshot.

Well, like with my Sister, Sunny believes that she doesn't need help and that's its everyone else's fault and they should get off her back.

The worst part of it is Sunny does have a natural charisma about her. Even in a post-Conrad world where there's 8 million wrestler podcasts, Sunny could have a very entertaining one that I think would pay the bills just fine if she would get some help. People love a good redemption story. Look at Jake. Here's hoping Sunny gets some help.

for a board that is so strict on what we post, and the things we say.. I find it a little upsetting that its ok to laugh and joke about Sunny's obvious issue she has in her life, but hey just my opinion
