Here's the dilemma with Ricochet: He doesn't have much charisma on the mic and really all he has in the ring is a lot of wild moves, but on the main roster in WWE they seem to take all of the wild moves away from someone. So you get matches like tonight where a small dude that used to be flippy dippy isn't that flippy anymore and he's just selling for a big clod for 6 minutes and it's boring. Thing is, you can throw a dart towards most of the roster and point out that exact statement: can do a lot of wild moves, but has no charisma. Humberto Carillo, Cedric Alexander, Akira Tozawa, Apollo Crews, any member of Lucha Suck Party. Problem is, WWE does not like it when people that are not being pushed show up people that are getting pushes (besides the whole safety issue). Hence the restrictions on what you can and can't do. Thus, we're stuck with a lot of bland, boring white meat talent who are stuck doing who knows what wasting space in the back. The idea that someone like Ricochet (or Alexander or Crews or Tozawa or Kalisto...) has no charisma is ridiculous. These are likable dudes. They're just not parts of interesting stories, and there's a whole vibe of them where we all know they don't matter, so why should we care? No money or creativity went into their entrances or costumes, they don't get character moments. They're presented as nobodies.

Did he at least get his cool flippy RKO spot that each of the hottest new cruiserweight acts who's not Rey Mysterio gets?
Cause if so, they're probably bored of him now.

It’s baffling. He was better off in a random tag team with Aleister Black than this.

And what WWE did? Stop using him

Just saw parts of the match and it looks like they hit him with the good ol "Dean Ambrose" thing. You know what I'm talking about. The "hey this guy did "great" against Lesnar and he's still not recovered after the Lesnar match but man look at him go he's awesome it doesn't matter if he loses because he's handicapped guys" thing. Sad. Weird thing is, it wasn't long after that where Ambrose went on probably his strongest singles run in the company, that mid-late 2016 run where he won Money In The Bank, cashed in the same night to win the world title and was SmackDown's top face to start off the new brand split. Can't see that happening here with Ricochet yet. Yeah with Ambrose I feel like they tried to do their best to get him over after they realized they screwed up. Once you hear the commentators go through lengths to put a superstar over like that, it says something. In Ricochet's case I don't know, guess we'll find out when reports hit because he's not Ambrose. His best bet is getting the crowd behind him because it seems as though as Heyman vouching for him doesn't mean a thing in Vince's eyes.

So he lost to Riddick Moss tonight? Damn, that's just sad. He's got until January next year before his contract expires so we'll see what happens. I'm sure this is just Vince "giving up" on dude and moving on. Sad it happens all the time but that's Vince. Makes me wonder if he might put in a release request. They probably wouldnt let him go but my man looked PISSED going to the back tonight on fan cameras.

He's probably hoping he gets drafted after WM.

I really don't assume Ricochet would be wanting out or anything at this point. Be kind of an extreme overreaction if so - he's had his stupid stuff and not really been used that well since the AJ feud but he's generally been pretty prominent and relatively protected, really only this past week has been that bad for him.

The problem is that he doesn’t shoot at his opponents during matches, only before and certainly not at his opponent. And he needs to do it while making 'pew, pew, pew' sounds 👉

He's certainly living up to his name, this man ricocheted straight off the main event scene all the way down to the bottom of the barrel.

I'm not ready to write him off just yet. In the past month, he's beaten Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, Bobby Lashley, and Lashley plus Seth Rollins in a 3-way. Everybody beats Anderson and Gallows, but beating Lashley and Rollins is a pretty big deal. My guess is this current slump will lead to a frustrated heel turn.

Wait, they put him over Lashley clean, then had him squashed by Lesnar and pinned by whoever this guy with the 24/7 belt is? And that happened all in like two weeks?

I've gotta say, inefficient Rico has been one of my favourite running memes for a month now. ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) Shout-out to Dick Moss too! Praise, brother! \o/

I’ve got a feeling he’s going to get a losing streak gimic. Man I hope not.
That said you know who got one of those? MVP. So if he gets involved that could be interesting.

He's seen what they've done with a lot of the smaller but over guys - I _know_ he's seen what they did to Finn. He's probably thinking, "If they are doing that to him, what hope do I have?"
Yeah, he's looking for condos in Jacksonville this morning.
