Honestly I'm rooting for Rossy even more now, because there are a LOT of western wrestling fans out there throwing out accusations like "oh well he's just setting up a feeder league for the fed", which is fairly tame (still lame to say that without evidence), but then you have a lot of them talking about how he's starting a cult because a bunch of women plan on leaving STARDOM in March to join his promotion, and how he's obviously a sex pest because he's running a women's wrestling promotion. And that anyone who praises him was obviously brainwashed into doing so.
You can dislike Rossy all you want, but I think leaping to the conclusion that he's a sex pest, especially with no evidence is incredibly dumb at best.

The only real flimsy evidence for any sort of sex pest stuff was the earlier days of the promotion having stuff like photo books. And that's less on Stardom specifically, and more on Japanese culture as a whole. It's an even worse reach than Nick Hausman's Jericho shit.

So TAM has declared she is staying in STARDOM.
Which is unsurprising considering Meltear is under Bushiroads music label and Tam is alot closer to retiring.

Joshi promotions seem to have some especially harsh breakups, but that's probably part of what keeps the scene interesting.

I love how one sentence in I knew this was Meltzer before I got to the end.

I wish none of this happened, but I think people are being waaaaay too quick to take sides. Mostly because of AEW/WWE proxy fights.

Rossy wasn’t the only one in the company not interested in AEW, and his new promotion likely isn’t a WWE farm. (His philosophy has always been if you wanna go go) I think he has enough connections (keep in mind a lot of Stardom’s stars aren’t homegrown) to do something independent with good traction. Outside of who ever leaves to join him, top freelancers like Sareee, VENY, Takase etc. are probably happy to wrestle there. Same with promoters like Taiyou, Nagayo, etc.

Some early news about Rossy’s new promotion dropped via Fumi Saito. This includes six top wrestlers leaving Stardom, five foreign talents confirmed to be there at the start, and three rookies locked in to go along with a dojo that is currently being created. Promotion name is set and logo is ready, with title belts in-progress (world/midcard/tag/trios).
It was also said that Mayu’s Twitter comments were about her wanting to leave but being unable to. Sounds like she will join this new company when her contract is finally done, along with two high-speed talents in the same boat.

Rossy wastes no time the hat man has been grinding while getting this all ready. So six top stars not inlcuding Mayu. Tam has made he declaration in staying with STARDOM and considering Meltear is under bushiroad's music label this would almost have to guarantee Poi stays as well and Maika has all but said she is also staying. Most if not all of Oedo Tai is definetly leaving for Rossy's new promotion. Of all the members of Queens Quest AZM feels the most sure fire to leave same with Saki Kashima...HatMan needs his comedic lazy Queen. And we already know Giulia is following Rossy to help him establish before going to WWE...so this feels like Thekla is going as well since she just basically follows Giulia everywhere. Mina , Syuri and Hazuki , Utami...are some other names I could see following Rossy but I can't be completely sure mostly because I blank on how their ties are to Rossy especially Hazuki.

I don't think Thekla is going to follow Rossy. She's been pretty transparent that she sees AEW as her next destination. Anyways, Dave provided a small update on this morning's Observer Radio, basically saying that Giulia will be a part of Rossy's new promotion until around the end of 2024, then she will sign with WWE.

Poi’s return match being immediate murder is a bit too much but I’m here for it. Everyone in the match has some kind of fun history with each other, Chihiro and Poi not as much I suppose but they did have that match where Chihiro murdered her youtu.be/P_XfoYZVjb4?si=IgIrfqu2J7s0_IZL. If post rossy Stardom does this kinda shit or can even feasibly keep doing it I’m intrigued because that’s motn on most Stardom cards. (Watch it be a draw or quick or something to immediately prove me wrong)
