Obviously the faction started in CMLL with La Sombra, La Mascara and Rush. Considering the working relationship between CMLL and New Japan, I understand how that could work out. But now I am very confused with La Faccion Ingobernable being used in AAA as well as ROH. ROH has a working relationship with CMLL last time I checked, although I know they aren't happy about Rush and Dragon Lee, but AAA and CMLL have a long rivalry.

The Alonso family owns "Los Ingobernables." NJPW owns "Los Ingobernables de Japon."
The new group with Rush and LA Park and Bestia must be trying to get around the trademark by adding "Faccion" to the name. I'm not sure if that's enough to get around it, but the Roldans of AAA are pretty savvy when it comes to trademark law.

The AAA/ROH thing is what throws me off, I assumed CMLL owned the rights to it. Of course with the whole control of CMLL after Paco's death is another thing that is clouding the waters and the Munoz family said they would work for Sofia but not Chavo.

But Mexicans also don't give a shit about copyright and they added another word so it's a different name.

That's slightly different in that the names/gimmicks tend to, I believe, be owned by the companies and they're liable to just hand them out to other people. See La Parka, Mistico, etc.
