The obvious thing to do is have Drew beat Lesnar on night one then have Lesnar show up on night two to challenge Goldberg. Make an inference that Lesnar did "something" to Roman. Only if the reveal is Heyman sent Roman an interview with Dr. Fauci and him and Lesnar turn face

Watch Mania just be an out of focus Seth and Dolph playing the roles of every other wrestler.

I now wonder if they'll go the route of John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt being a night-one match for the opportunity to face Goldberg for the Universal Championship in the main event of night two? This presents two potentially interesting scenarios. It can setup Cena going for his record breaking seventeenth(?) championship or allow Wyatt to exercise two demons in two consecutive nights.
They could even make it a three-way between all three participants as a way to mask Goldberg's limitations in the ring. I feel like there's slim pickings on the Smackdown side of things in terms of challengers for Goldberg, with the only alternatives being the likes of Strowman, Bryan and least likely of all Corbin because whomever challenges him has to walk away as champion and I just can't see them pulling the trigger on Baron in any regard.
I hate to sat this, but the pandemic state we're in has actually made an uninteresting "Wrestlemania" more intriguing, but I agree with the consensus that the show should have been postponed and good on Reigns for putting his health before the WWE's designs.

Good for Roman. His health needs to come first. I wish his peers would follow suit.
Ironically enough, this show is turning into a bigger disaster than the Wrestlemania-equivalent Saudi shows and after the way that Vince McMahon has treated some wrestlers and his audience over the years, it's delightful to watch.

Samoa Joe vs. Goldberg is some #1 EWR booking right there.

Roman has a wife and kids. Completely understandable considering he has an autoimmune disease that would make him weaker against the virus than people who are completely healthy.
If this is where Vince finally sours on Roman Reigns, it will be the most vindictive thing he has ever done and it will cost him and WWE to do so.

Q: What do you get when you stuck up a phone inside Goldberg's butt?
A: A golden receiver, dawg~!

Glad Roman's out of this thing due to his health. Smart thing and smart for those others who aren't gonna participate due to theirs as well. This company can make something happen, they just gotta capitalize.

I know the logical thing to happen is for Wyatt to beat Cena but what if they make it a #1 contender match and the winner faces Goldberg? Then we get Goldberg/Cena which would be a dream matchup.

Yeah its perfectly understandable given the circumstances, but it just sucks for them to get this close and then lose Roman at the last minute.

Ehh. Wyatt needs that W from Cena tho. Yes, this is a “lost” Wrestlemania but still want to give your current everyday guys props and ability to move forward. Goldberg/Cena is a dream match that doesn’t need the title and that 100% needs to be in front of the fans Just do a replay of Goldberg/Fiend with Bray learning from his previous mistakes and there you have it.

Reigns has just had cursed luck when it comes to trying to make this whole triumphant WrestleMania thing happen. WM31, everyone hates him and he loses. WM32, he DOES win the belt, but everyone still hates him and the match was a slog. WM33, he ostensibly "retires" a legend and, if it were even possible, everyone hates him even more. WM34, he tries to win the belt again, gets cut open to f*** and loses again... and guess what, everyone still hates him. WM35, he's been away sick with F***ING LEUKEMIA so he's just midcard busy work. Now this, through circumstances out of everyone's control.

I'm fine with it as it's one of the few "dream" matches (w/ Angle vs. Bryan, which won't ever happen 'cause WWE screwed up his retirement tour) that I'd still really like to see. But as Fade is a CodyCryBaby said, The Fiend beating both would do probably wonders for The Fiend in longer term. And that character is easy to sell in front of nobody, as you can do those wacky segments all week long. My predictions for Goldberg's opponent in order: 1) Baron Corbin 2) Cena/Wyatt 3) Dolph Ziggler
