Just got mine out of the way I made enough profit selling things online so I have to file as a small business. I was dreading taxes cutting into my profits, but it actually turned out much better than I expected I usually file in January but since I made much more money selling things online I was putting it off. Next year I’m going to rip the band aid off again and just file early. I know 2020 sucks and everyday is supposed to be doomsday. But I feel so relieved right now

I always file early in the season, like early-mid February. That's mostly because I only have like 3-5 things to report any given year.

Usually file earlier, like immediately after getting all my docs. Put it off this year and did it last week. Got my fed refund today.
Still waiting on Illinois and Michigan.
Fun having to do an extra state due to the move.

The wife has a standing appointment with our accountant for the first week of February to file our taxes. Our refunds have been in the bank for weeks already.

Mine tend to be a pain in the ass as I travel for work a decent amount and file taxes for multiple states because of it (the joy of working for an accounting firm). Last year the only other states I traveled to were ones that don't have state income tax so I got lucky and have had mine done for about six weeks or so. Refund was deposited six days after I filed.
